Paramount: "more important than anything else; supreme". This studio lives up to its name. We did the VIP tour and there were five (5) of us plus the tour guide Ariel. We loved every minute of it. History was everywhere you looked, so excited to stand where Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers rehearsed together...the memorabilia and access to sets, technical... More

We had the tour guide and 5 persons so enjoyed the small tour as it's more personal. We had a knowledgeable guide but it was Thanksgiving week so everything was very quiet. Interesting to see the buildings of sets but I guess I expected more. We did go to Dr Phil stage so that was interesting. It seemed very small... More

An awesome tour - the stories of the history and the props used in movies are awesome. And then you hear about Lucille Ball and how she was instrumental to the MI series - it sucks you in

A 2+ hour tour of the studio grounds with a knowledgeable guide on a 6 person cart which is great for those of us who have physical limits. A bit of walking to get inside buildings, i.e. to see the Dr. Phil studio. We saw a "movie star" or two walking across the grounds which excited everyone. 6 people to... More

Personalised ID cards, small groups and a working studio, it all felt rather posh and professional - Felt like it was going to be great. We got split off from the original guide we were with and it felt like we ended up with the boring guy! He was knowledgeable and professional, but lacked the "zing" of the first guy.... More

Yes, this is still a working studio and the movie /TV show making has changed from the Golden years of Hollywood but still interesting. I took the basic tour, guide was friendly and helpful, pointing out some key attractions and the history. Got to see an interior sound stage being built and set designers discussing exteriors in the back lot.... More

When we signed up for the Paramount Spooky Tour we were very excited! We paid around $100 per person for the tour and it said it was a 3 hour walking tour of the Paramount Studio, the Hollywood Forever cemetery with champagne! When we got there we were greeted by 3 very nice people and one friendly security guard. They... More

The tour guide was great, The champagne was a great touch. The whole facility sparkles but you don't really see much of anything. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the studio and the movies in general. Tour of the cemetary was entertaining. All that said, it was lacking in substance. We saw the set of doctor... More

My husband and I recently did the new night tour at Universal Studios and were a little underwhelmed, but I have to say Paramount’s after-dark tour “Tales from the Other Side” went above and beyond our expectations. Unlike Universal, this tour is completely different from the one they offer during the day (at least from the one we did last... More

Our tour guide Troy was very nice and informative. I just think they spend to much time talking and showing us clips from they're iPad versus showing us more of want goes on in the studios. Didn't really enjoy our visit.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
