Hours are short during winter and they close at 7pm. If going on the Jurassic Park ride, bring rain ponchos purchased at the 99cents stores or they charge $3.00 each at the park. You will get wet on this ride and be miserable when it gets cold. Wait times were not bad at all, maybe 20 minutes. Food lines get... More

This mixes a theme park with a fully working movie studios. The theme park is much smaller than the Florida park but the rides are great. The house of horrors was amazing. It's a walk around interactive experience with actors ready to scare the life out of you. The mummy ride is fantastic. And the backlot tour is not to... More

Went with the family and it was a crazy experience and a must see for everyone who visits the US. Better to get the yearly pass if you can visit more than once in a year. take ur cameras and a few towels. Its definately a full day place to spend ....

We only had half a day, and could have spent more time there. Queues seemed long for the studio tour, so keep an eye on the boards with waiting times.

I have been to universal studios quite a few times over the past 20 years. it has always left me feeling happy and satisfied. This visit on Oct 30 2011 was no different. The weather was PERFECT, not hot not cold. The lines were short and reasonable. 10-20 minutes for each ride/attraction. The Simpsons ride was BY FAR the best... More

Awesome Halloween decor as it was near Halloween the time we visited. The Studio Tour was pretty good. You get to see some filming sets like Desperate Housewives and Jurassic Park. The Special Effects stage was interactive and you learned how special effects were made.

We spent the day at Universal Studios in April 2011. I recommend arriving at opening time and doing the Studio tour first up to save waiting times. The rides are also fantastic. The Waterworld show was great too. The kids enjoyed the Simpsons Ride. Great family day out, definitely worth the visit.

After the letdown at Disney, we decided to try out Universal Studios Hollywood... what a difference. While it may not be as big as Universal in Florida, it's well organized with lots of variety and fun things to do, plus the food choices are way better. Parking was easy and the boardwalk with all of the shops was even better... More
