If this is your first time going, this is the best method I uses to save time and you don't waste time. Once you're in, head to the House of Horrors, then head to The Minion Ride, then proceed to the studio tour, next the Simpson ride, now down the escalators 2 The Mummy ride, then off to Jurassic Park... LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! We took a family vacation to LA and took the VIP Tour at Universal Studios. No lines, no stress, all smiles and fun day!! Our guide was Monse, she made our day worthwhile, explained the rides and history of the studios from begining to modern day. The VIP lounge is always open if you want... More

My family consists of my wife, self and 2 tween kids. We chose the vip package and wow the experience was unbelievably awesome and well worth every dollar. We had an excellent tour guide "owen" who took great care of us including being very informative, we never had to wait more than 3 minutes in line for the rides and... More

Although not cheap, you will be the only guets to get off your bus and walk through the film locations and into the studios. Very interesting to see all thre props as well as some of the special effects. Excellent lunch followed by the attractions where you move straight to the front of every queue where waiting times for each attraction... More

Besides the usual trappings of any theme park (rides, restaurants and merchandise) there are so many things to see here - from the re-constructed New York set and the clock tower famous from Back to the Future, to the props and set pieces which can be seen on the VIP Tour. I love every minute I spend in Universal, even... More

I came away from a full day here with no desire to ever revisit. It was mid summer but being mid week we hoped falsely for slightly less crowds. If you like queuing 20 - 70 mins to enter each attraction then you might be more impressed than I was. the Studio Back Lot trolley tour is definitely pitched at... More

Follow best advice and you will enjoy universal studios as much as we did. Plan your visit well. Start off early. The minions ride starts at 7:30 am on some days. Start with that then go directly to the lower lot. If you start early you could do the Simpson ride right after the minions and they'd both not have... More

Loved the whole experience! Minion Mayhem, Transformers, Jurassic Park, and the tour of the lot were my favorites!! Get there when the park opens to avoid the long lines.

My family and I went there on 5 July. I suppose it was the worst timing of all. All the combo for crowding a place was there: 1)It was a Saturday; 2)It was a long weekend; & 3) It was summer. waiting time for each attraction was between 45-85 mins. Don't miss the studio tour, which could run up to... More

Ok, so the special effects are amazing on some of the rides--Transformers 3D and the Simpsons and the King Kong 4D part of the studio tour. One of our favorite parts of the park was the Water World show which has awesome special effects, great stunt acting, a fun water show element, and a chance to get wet on a... More
