This is my first time going to the US and we had the experience of a lifetime in the Universal Studios Hollywood. This is not the same as the one in Singapore, mainly because it is actually a studio first rather than a theme park. The best experience was the "tour" of the studios to see all the places inside.

It was a nice place and you could obtain lots of information and enjoy your day there but I found it competitively expensive. I also went to a cinema there and enjoyed watching a new movie.

I was born and raised in California until I turned 15. My family had annual passes to Universal Studios Hollywood, and we'd go about every month. It was exciting to me as a kid, but going every month you tend to get bored. We moved out of California, and I had a 6 year streak where I didn't visit Universal.... More

This won't be a long review, so get the VIP experience tickets and be treated like a celebrity. You even get to pass the fast pass holders and have a nice delicious lunch halfway through the tour. Don't be shy to ask the tour guide if you you can take pictures everywhere. Also, once you're done with the tour you get ride... More

It was a sweltering hot day on Sunday, and I don't think we would have survived it if it wasn't for the epic "cool zones" scattered around the wait areas etc; a giant water mister you could get damp under! 60min waits for each ride/event - we did 3. Amazing kids zone by the looks!

Had a great day at Universal Studios. It was really strange to see all the places I'd seen on the telly in the flesh so to speak. Wouldn't have recognised Cabot Cove though if they hadn't told us what it was. The tour of the studio was good and I can now say I've been in an earthquake. A warning... More

We went on a Sunday which was a mistake, it was overcrowded with a one way system in operation when walking. We returned on the Monday and it was much better. No roller coasters as Florida has but it was still a good day. Must do the studio trolley tour, the guides are informative and there are a few surprises... More

Don´t miss this park in case you´re in Los Angeles even if you´ve have been to the ones in Orlando like me. It´s smaller but the ride in the studios is unique. You can see a lot of places where some of our favorite series and movies have been shot. I was thrilled when we get to the Desperate Housewives... More

My favorite part of Universal Studios was by far the backlot tour. I highly recommend it. You get to see some great sets, there's a fun 3-D experience, and you learn a few interesting things. I also enjoyed each of the shows we saw. The special effects show was really fun and interesting. And it was funny to realize while... More
