We decided to splurge on the VIP experience at universal and even though the price seemed expensive at booking I have no regrets about it. It included a private group tour of the studio lot, and a visit to the prop storage area where you could see and touch props used in some classic movies including gladiator. The tour guide... More

One of the best theme parks you can ever go to. Very live with cartoon characters moving around & you'll enjoy taking photos with them. Not so many rides but you'll enjoy every single ride you'll get on. NEVER MISS the Universal Studio tour where you'll get the chance to see the places where they shoot most of their movies... More

I booked our VIP EXPERIENCE online, a few months back, while planning our vacation to California. I read plenty of reviews and decided that upgrading to the VIP EXPERIENCE was worth the extra money. I am so happy that I did this! This was worth every dime that I spent, and an experience that I am certain that I will... More

great day, recommend fron of line pass you only have one day. worst queue otherwise was 75 mins long. fabulous '3D' rides, similar to Disney's Star Tours, but focussed on Despicable Me the Simpsons, and Shrek. Without a unifying theme, it lacks an atmosphere at Disney, but the experiences are superb, the Water World stunt show is superb, and free... More

Had a group of six aged 3-53 and everyone had a blast. My 3 year old couldn't get on everything but the line switch ( may not be the name of it but) was great for use because I could ride and the other adult could ride as soon as we got off, no waiting in line twice. The best... More

This is also not a place for kids younger than middle school as their are limited places for young kids to play (stick with Disney). Also, it is exceedingly annoying that the park is split in two (bottom of the hill and top of the hill) and one has to take a bunch of time consuming escalators to get to... More

Took my grand-kids and had an awesome day! The 3D rides where out of this world! It's best to go out of the park to eat, can be a little crowed but the lines move pretty fast. Plan on a full day if you want to see and ride on the attractions.

We went as a group of 7: 3 adults, 2 children (8 & 11), and 2 seniors. We had a fantastic time!! 6 of us had visited Universal in Florida before & they are very similar. One major exception is the back lot, which is only in California. It is a MUST!!! It's a nice break to get to sit... More

Family of five more than disappointed! There were so many visitors in the park it was a sea of people! Wondered if they monitored how many people were admitted....long lines, wait times and rides were disappointing. Stood in back of attraction holding my grandson so he could see and was pushed and shoved by male visitor. I commented, "seriously"??? because... More

We had the VIP tour and it was great! Our tour guide was an clearly an experienced guide. There was not many other people that had the VIP (or front in line pass) at that time, but I think that has changed. A lot of the rides had short queues.
