Universal studios is a good to fill in if you have a spare day in LA. Unfortunately for me a few of the rides were being refurbushed in the lower lot as where a lot of the attractions in the upper lot. The studio tour is definately worth doing especially for the fast and the furious show. The Mummy and... More

The studio tour was cool and I enjoyed the Mummy ride and the Simpsons ride. The others were just okay. The Shrek 4-D was a waste of time. Jurassic Park ride was being refurbished and Harry Potter is yet to open. I guess I'm more of a thrill ride person, so I was disappointed that pretty much everything save the... More

I hate to compare but I went to the one in Orlando first. This one in California is WAAAY smaller. It is more shows and attractions than rides. The shows were great, don't get me wrong, but I prefer thriller rides. They few rides they had were similar from the ones in Orlando but shorter. The Mummy ride in Orlando... More

Best time to go: overcast or slightly chilly day. It gets very hot in the valley. There's a lot of walking in the sun there. Rides a re geared towards the thrill seekers and those who do not get nauseous. I liked the young child's area when my son was 5 and under. I also enjoy the tram ride through... More

Sorry if this is a negative review but the best part was the shuttle back to the Metro station. How anyone can enjoy this place beats me, it must be the most crowded, tacky, uncool place in California. Having said that the bar at Bubba Gump does a good Jack & Coke so it wasn't all bad. If you are... More

I highly recommend the VIP tour of Universal Studios. My niece read about and wanted to do it, so I booked the VIP Tour. Breakfast and catered lunch are included. You have a private tram to take you to places the other tours do not go. My favorite was the prop warehouse and dolby sound stage. After lunch you have... More

Universal studios in Hollywood is unbelievable but I would recommend VIP experience cause you get to go behind the scenes of all your favourite universal films and also in the park your VIP guide escort you to the front of the line so you don't have to stand in those queues and after you've watched a show you get the... I have visited Universal Studios Hollywood three times previously, so I thought I would try out the VIP Experience this time to get a more comprehensive look at the park. I'm not that much into the rides, so my favourite part of the park has always been the backlot tour, and the VIP Experience promised a deeper behind-the-scenes look. First... More

We went for the first time in December and we had a great time. We rode the studio tour three times! The rides are mostly virtual reality or what they call 4D. We enjoyed the size of the park and the accommodating staff. It was my son's birthday and everyone from the characters to the guys sweeping the streets wished... More
