If you don't get there when it opens, be prepared to wait in long lines to get on the tram to the park, wait lines for tickets and wait lines for rides / attractions. I also suggest you go on a weekday when there are no families with kids. I took an out of town guest (20 year old) who... More

Any visit to LA is incomplete without a visit to Universal Studios. Go early in the morning and go to the furthest spot in the Studio down the escalator and work your way back. Wasn't impressed with the Mummy ride, the Transformer ride was amazing. The Tram ride is the backbone of the tour and the Water World show was... More

We were here with our granddaughter. We had a blast. Hollywood location is significantly smaller than Orlando. We were greeted by the amazing Catherine who helped us both days with planning the day, etc. Park opens at 8 right now, but the only ride open at that time is the studio tour. That is a fantastic ride (depending on the... More

We were there on a Saturday about 9:30. Husband surprised us and bought the VIP tickets. Worth their weight in gold!!!! Absolutely the way to go to this park. Our teenagers had a blast! Hadn't seen them smile that much in a while. We had gone throught the entire park by 5. We had a blast. Mummy ride was the... More

Having previously visited the parks in Florida I was a bit disappointed with this park, most of the rides were 3D simulators or a version of. Jurassic Park is a great water ride though. I think once Harry Potter land opens the park will be much better.

Great place, so much to see for adults and children, great rides but if you are like me and don't like them, don't worry, plenty going on, boats rides and walk around tours etc, not a bad price for what's packed on, plenty to eat and drink even for the fussiest eaters, a must see place

Though I have visited Universal Studios - home of the $7 hotdog - in other countries, this was my first visit to the Hollywood one - where it all started. I suppose being in the heart of Hollywood, this park has a certain advantage in that they can give you a tour of the Universal backlot that other locations can't... More

The best advice we were given was to purchase the Front Of Line ticket, it was so good to just walk straight into each attraction and ride with no wait time at all! We felt sorry for people with general admission tickets who were waiting for up to over an hour for some rides in the hot sun! This pass... More

My family and I recently visited Universal. It was an amazing place. So much entertainment and over the top shows. The down side.... Because it's an exceptional venue... It is super crowded.... Apparently more so in the summer. The solution...spend the money and get a Front of the Line Pass. This way, you never have to wait. We also got... More
