We spent one day at Universal on the Thursday before the long weekend. We took a bus tour to the park and were a little concerned we would not have enough time to see everything we wanted to. Needless to say, we were ready to leave at 3pm and the bus wasn't picking us up until 6. The park was... more

My first time at Universal and had diceded to take the VIP-tour because both my boyfriend and I are movie freaks. And it was a great tour. We were welcomed by our tour guide Donna, whom I would like to thank for makeing it a great day at Universal. If you like movies and would like to know a little... more

We bought our tickets in advance and then upgraded to the Front of Line Pass when we got there. Let me tell you... this little gem is WORTH THE MONEY. Dont wait in a 2 hour line AGAIN!! We rode the rides over and over and walked past all those miserable people (just like we'd been at Disneyland). We had... more

We decided to go to Universal Studios while we were staying in Hollywood. We were a bit worried that we may be a bit old for it (hence the reason not going to Disney land), but we had a blast. The Simpson ride was mind blowing, this was the only ride we went on twice. The Water world show was... more

Definitely a place for people of all ages to have fun!! I would recommend getting the front of the line pass and the all you can eat pass (if you plan on staying there all day), they are the perfect combo. Front of the line pass allows to zoom on by the rest of the people who have to wait... more

My family and I had a great time at Universal. The Universal Tour is a must see. We had a blast! Enjoyed walking around the City Walk shopping and eating. Probably could have done Universal Studios in a half day but we rode some of the rides over and over. more

My hubby and I went to Universal Studios and we used www.allanaheimtours.com for the ride & admission package, which I also recommend if you're not driving. The driver was so informative and gave us tips on which rides to go on first to make the most of our time there (10am to 6:30pm). We got to USH at 10am, right... more

We got VIP passes for universal - but felt that it wasn't worth the money. They give you some tidbits at the beginning and take you for a VIP tram tour - it was interesting how you get to see where they make the sets, props and the props library. But after that everything else was pretty much ordinary -... more

I visited this theme park once - on a Monday in May - as part of the Southern CA CityPass package. Upon arrival, I payed the extra $$$ for preferred parking. Yes - it was noticeably closer and worth it. Some patrons don't like being asked to pay more money for this convenience, so if you don't like it....then don't... more
