This tour is an efficient and informative way to see the best parts of LA - taking you to the Hollywood hills, west Hollywood, Beverly Hills, so you can get close to the homes of the famous and appreciate the wonderful scenery. Good photo taking opportunities. Also get good history of the sites (our tour guide was Andrew Williams).

Accepted at the last minute with discount. Just ask ;) Did the last tour for the day. Good mix of scenic views, celebrity homes and good knowledge from the tour guide with a touch of humor! Being at the end of the day I would advise to bring warm clothes as it's an open top vehicle.

The size of LA and surrounding areas are so vast, and Starline Tours offers a great connection service with hop-off-hop-on busses that covers it all. You can easily spend 3 or 4 days to cover it all, but if you don't have a car yourself, this is truly great.

We used the Hop On, Hop Off to visit Santa Monica and Beverly Hills (Red and Yellow Lines). The tours are informative and helped us get an idea of where we wanted to visit. Santa Monica was beautiful and Beverly Hills, in my opinion, was a bit overhyped, but regardless we had fun. However, the one thing I didn't love... More

The multiple hop-on hop-off routes offered by this company thoroughly cover LA and Santa Monica. It would take at least three days to do them all, and if you hop-off repeatedly, each route would take a day. The routes are good, the commentary good (but more history would be appreciated) and the price reasonable, but the timetable is slippery and... More

We took a 2 day tour which was great. Day one picked up in Beverley Hills went to Hollywood, downtown L.A. saw so much. 2nd day went to Venice beach etc. The recorded information on the bus was very informative and we informed so much about L.A.

You sit in a cramped dirty, smelly van and see gates and trees of star homes. You don't get out so for two hours your stuck. Tour guide was ok..but do not waste the money!

I had the feeling it was a good choice to see hollywood with a tour, the prices are too high for what you get. We actually went for all the places were written in the agency but it took about less 5 min each one, it was supoused to take 2h or so but it only took 1.5h. I wasn't... More

Dear Valued Customer, On behalf of Starline Tours, we thank you for taking a tour. We are ecstatic to hear that you enjoyed yourself on your tour. We are glad to hear that out of it all, you enjoyed your tour guide. However the tour length sometime can depend on Los Angeles traffic, which can be complicated at times. We... More

The good- tour guide Johnathan was friendly and driver did great. They both offered to take pics of anyone when needed and helped the non english speaking people very well. The not so good - from the start we got on the bus, just to get off the bus to go to a store across the road for a few... More

It was a great way to get around without a vehicle but you are constricted by time. That's my only complaint. And our blue route driver was phenomenal.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
