This tour is best taken in the early morning and if you have no problems with walking. Since I was touring with my elderly parents, I wanted to book the covered AC bus. The booking agent told me that they don't use them in "beautiful, sunny summer days in LA." It was sunny, alright! I thought I'd never hear my... More

Not really worth the $$! You do get an air conditioned bus; however, limited stops and each one is too short! Many of my pics were taken from the bus. This was a very pricey tour option so I expected the very best not a drive by of some of the famous sights ( ex. Beverly Hills sign, Whiskey A... More

This is great in theory, but less so in practice. The journeys from A to B are long and tedious and in summer the heat is significant (bring cold liquids!). The narration is grinding and very repetitive (and, oddly, British!) and occasionally glorifies restaurants on the way. On the plus side, for less than the price of a few taxis,... More

Bought a pair of tickets for the hop-on, hop-off bus. Sounds good, but spoilt by the unpredictable LA traffic. We waited about 10 minutes for the first bus and took the red route to Beverly Hills. Changed to the yellow route at Beverly Hills and went to Santa Monica pier. Walked around the pier, then waited about 20 minutes for... More

It is interesting reading other reviews to see how disorganised this company actually is. I wrote an email a month ago with a question about a specific tour. No response to that so I wrote again, no response to the second email so I wrote a third. After the third email I received a response (in very poor almost incomprehensible... More

Alan was a great tour guide. He had an abundance of information and details. Drove us close to the Hollywood Sign where there were amazing city views. Great tour. Homes were mostly secluded and we were unable to view behind the gates or shrubbery. But still, interesting to know who lived there.

The bus tours around LA / Hollywood are all pretty "cheesy" and the 2 hr tour we took around the stars homes and local area was no exception. We liked the open top van we were in - good for taking photos and enjoying the fine LA weather. The guide was pretty knowledgeable and kept the pace of the tour... More

our tour guide, affectionately known at Dr Phil was awesome, warm and we loved the full day tour that took us to the Chinese theatre, Venice Beach, Muscle Beach, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, homes of the stars, Santa Monica Pier etc etc, which lots of anecdotes, and advice, we absolutely loved the tour. Well worth the money and i would... More
