Our driver picked us up promptly at 8:30am to begin our tour. I must mention that it is not easy to get to our hotel because of a divided road and they cannot drive into the driveway. They have to stop on the street and gather people up. We went to their office near Venice Beach and narration and a... More

We went on the 6.5 hour city and beaches tour . It was fine but I was disappointed it didn't stop more . Felt quite rushed . I've been on similar tours in other places that weren't so rushed .

We used the starline hop on hop off buses and also used starline for disneyland tix and transfers. The drivers were mostly friendly, and although the services are pricey, that is the price you pay for convenience in LA. The commentary on the hop on and off bus was wonderfully informative!

Staying in LA, we used Starline's hop on, hop off bus, and took a trip to Disneyland. The bus tours were mostly good, although some of the drivers were a bit grouchy. When we reached the end of the Green Route in Marina del Rey, the driver made us get off for 1/2 hour, so he could have a break.... More

I have been in many hop on hop off in different cities, but here in LA it was the worst, they are not on time, line change is waste of time, you can't see anything in lower decks, tour guides they don't know anything, they finish early, they don't take you to all interesting places, if you get off in... Hop on hop off buses are usually excellent way to see a city. In LA today, a large group of people were left waiting about 30 minutes at the switch stop between red and yellow loop. As it was 4pm, cold and windy and the stop is in a spot with no cafes or even shops, it was a depressingly... More

Well organized process of the tour. Coming to the hotel for picking up the tourists late after the signed time. Going fast, not including all the scheduled places. There were no enough information by the guide during the tour and cooperative with tourists. I don't recommend it for grand city tour.

Open bus tours are a great way to see a place in a short time. I have always found them very convenient most cities of the world over. But not here. 1. They are not punctual. For almost 20mins they kept saying the bus is just around the corner! 2. If you want change routes, you waste a lot of... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
