We were spending some time on Balboa Island while we were waiting for the boat, and that is an amazing island, with lovely shops and nice food. <3 The whale watching was exciting, cozy, lovely :-D The poor captain could not find the whales, so he sailed to another harbor and found some amazing and playful dolphins instead! It was... More

first of all, they have a voucher on their website that gives you 15$ off from the 45$ price of the adult cruise. which is great. then, if you're sick on the sea, it might get strange, be prepared. we had a little nausea and headaches. BUT the experience is amazing. we got to see several groups of dolphins and... More

We used a Groupon for the noon tour today and it was more than worth it. The boat (Christopher) was clean and had great viewing areas all around. Our naturalist was friendly and knowledgeable and was very good at spotting wildlife. We saw a small pod of dolphins before we even left the harbor! Shortly after leaving the harbor the... More

* My daughter in law went on some whale watching 2 weeks ago, saw 100+ dolphins and some whales very close. Not sure which company she used. But we took this tour. Did not see 100 dolphins, but still saw around 30 swim around the boat, that was fun! * Saw 3 whale spouting and back/tail of whale, but very... More

A wonderful experience. The tour was narrated through out! It made all the difference in the world! We saw sea lions, tons of dolphins and 2 whales. It was a great first experience. The boat was immaculate! There was a lady on board we sat with that was on her 30th whale watching tour. That saws it all!

After spending a few hours at the Aquarium of the Pacific, we then boarded for the 3:00 cruise. My son (13) was not looking forward to the three hour tour at all and I have to say he really ended up enjoying it. We were able to see dolphins, sea lions and three different whale sightings. I was amazed at... More

We did some online research and we decided to book our Whale/Dolphin Watching excursion with Harbor Breeze. We went out on the 3 hour, 12 pm, Blue Whale Watching Cruise. We booked our tickets online and in advance. Apparently, there are some online coupons/discounts to be had, but I did not find them in time, and you can not cancel... More

This was a very nice attraction to spend some time doing. I'm not sure exactly how many different whales we saw, but there were like 15-20 appearances above the water. They would blow some water and surface then back down. We saw two whale tails come out and go back down. Pretty cool experience. The boat was very nice, clean... More

We had a wonderful time on the whale tour. The entire process from buying our Groupon to boarding the boat was incredibly easy. Their customer service is top-notch. The crew was very professional and concerned about safety the entire trip. We were lucky to see a blue whale and her baby. We also saw a group of playful dolphins. I... More

This trip was very good. We spotted two Blue whales and saw them blow many times. I captured photos of tail fins as they dove. We then had a questionable immature white shark circle close to the boat twice. I say questionable since the naturalist from the Aquarium of the Pacific and the boat staff thought it might have been... More
