To begin with the boat is so comfortable, very clean, staff friendly. Could spend all day out on the water enjoying the wildlife. They also let you bring food and drinks on board. The photo's are $30.00 which Includes 2 key chains and a 5x7 photo. The on board staff from the aquarium were super with the kids with show... More

As part of our honeymoon, we visited LA and Long Beach. This appeared the best whale watching experience in the Greater LA area, online at least. Whilst comparisons are hard as neither of us had done one before, it was an amazing, humbling and wonderful time. We were lucky to see a Blue Whale, hundreds of Dolphins and a couple... More

Having sampled sealife watching tours out of Marina del Rey, Long Beach and Newport Beach, I can vouch that Harbor Breeze Cruises is the best whale-watching venue out of the Metro LA-Orange County area. Located at and departing from Dock #2 across from the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific in Rainbow Harbor, you cruise on spiffy Coast Guard-certified custom... More

The trip cost$40 per person. The boat was clean and the crew was very friendly and got the passengers involved in looking for the whales. We say hundreds of dolphins and some larger bottleneck dolphins but unfortunately no whales. That was disappointing but it was still a fun trip. I'd recommend bringing a wrap just in case you get chilly.... More

We were spending some time on Balboa Island while we were waiting for the boat, and that is an amazing island, with lovely shops and nice food. <3 The whale watching was exciting, cozy, lovely :-D The poor captain could not find the whales, so he sailed to another harbor and found some amazing and playful dolphins instead! It was... More

first of all, they have a voucher on their website that gives you 15$ off from the 45$ price of the adult cruise. which is great. then, if you're sick on the sea, it might get strange, be prepared. we had a little nausea and headaches. BUT the experience is amazing. we got to see several groups of dolphins and... More

We used a Groupon for the noon tour today and it was more than worth it. The boat (Christopher) was clean and had great viewing areas all around. Our naturalist was friendly and knowledgeable and was very good at spotting wildlife. We saw a small pod of dolphins before we even left the harbor! Shortly after leaving the harbor the... More

* My daughter in law went on some whale watching 2 weeks ago, saw 100+ dolphins and some whales very close. Not sure which company she used. But we took this tour. Did not see 100 dolphins, but still saw around 30 swim around the boat, that was fun! * Saw 3 whale spouting and back/tail of whale, but very... More

A wonderful experience. The tour was narrated through out! It made all the difference in the world! We saw sea lions, tons of dolphins and 2 whales. It was a great first experience. The boat was immaculate! There was a lady on board we sat with that was on her 30th whale watching tour. That saws it all!

After spending a few hours at the Aquarium of the Pacific, we then boarded for the 3:00 cruise. My son (13) was not looking forward to the three hour tour at all and I have to say he really ended up enjoying it. We were able to see dolphins, sea lions and three different whale sightings. I was amazed at... More
