Seven Deadly Zins is a fantastic wine. I had a blast here. I cannot believe I stumbled upon an amazing winery with a fresh market, full service breakfast, amazing outdoor seating area all in addition to acres of flowers and pristine beauty Ironically we had breakfast here.It was so fresh and delicious that words cannot describe it. The staff was... More

This place was so crowded that the quality of service was dramatically worse than the other wineries we visited. Our winetender seemed very overwheled and rushed, and didn't really give us much of an experience (it wasn't her fault though). In the area, I really appreciate the boutique wineries more because they go above and beyond to provide an experience.... More

Was there this weekend for an oyster and wine tasting event. First of all MD wines like 7 deadly Zins are in most of the grocery stores in the area as well as several of their more popular wines. These are very good wines. My wife and I went to the outside tasting area. Talking to the ladies out there... More

I visited the winery on a solo trip and they were so friendly. The girl that did my tasting was nice to talk to and even suggested that I drive into town, which I am glad I did.

We stopped in at Michael David because we love the Earthquake wine! Little did we know that they have such beautiful grounds at this winery. You can purchase a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers and enjoy it outside. There is a beautiful pond and all kinds of seating outside. Unfortunately, they close at 5 p.m. and we... More

Michael David is my favorite Lodi Wine. I own a winery and have been making wine for 40 years and I commend Michael David for helping to elevate the image of Lodi Wine. Every Wine is well produced at reasonable prices. His tasting room staff is great and his grounds are charming. Everything looks sincere and nothing overstated. A Must... More

The Lodi Wine and Visitors center highly recommended Michael David's food. We may have had a different experience. Our party of 4 had to wait about 20 minutes for a table while we watched unfilled tables our whole wait. Although friendly the waiter was slow and the cook was slower. We all had soup and a half sandwich. I had... More

Wow! Michael David winery has some of the best zinfandel wines I've ever had. Napa Valley has nothing on the wine quality of Lodi! The tasting room is nice, and there is a very good restaurant attached. We had a great lunch here, and a wonderful wine tasting experience. This is the home of 7 Deadly Zins, Earthquake Zin and... Stopped by, and the rounds are pretty. We walked in and it was a cafe type restaurant. To the right was the tasting area. Wines are good, many you will see in stores and such. I think the wines were good. The "wine tasting" experience wasn't highlighted very well as the smell of food and clinking of plates and such... More

My and my husband where on a road trip in CA and went to Lodi because we both love Zinfandel, and have had a lot of wines from Lodi that we enjoyed a lot. We started with lunch at Michael David Winery, they only had tacos on the menu, and the tacos were great, so was the Mexican soup. But... More
