Almost every winery in the area waves the tasting fee if you purchase one bottle. Here, you get 4 tastes for $7. The tasting fee is waved if you purchase 6 bottles. This might be due to the fact it is not a winery. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and mentioned that the wine selections get rotated weekly.

Every aspect of Wine & Roses is first rate. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are terrific, the food is excellent, and the service is as good as you will ever find. I used to think the Kahala International on Oahu was my favorite hotel, I'm not so sure now after a weekend at Wine & Roses.

This was our first stop on our first visit to the Lodi wine region. It was a perfect introduction to what the area has to offer. The tasting was the best value of the day. We got to taste some exceptional wines--some of which weren't being offered at the wineries that made them. Carmen was our hostess and was very... More

Located on the property of Wine & Roses resort, this visitor center gets right to the point with a tasting bar and well-stocked retail area featuring wines from the region. The list of featured wines changes frequently, so each time you visit, you can discover new Lodi wines.

What a friendly and charming place. No pretensions here, just helpful people promoting Lodi's wineries. The Lodi area is Wine Enthusiast's 2015 Wine Region of the Year, and here is no better place to start your exploration of the area than at the Visitor Center. Many of the regions wines are sold here, and you can sample some of them.... More

My wife and I recently visited Lodi wine country. We stopped at the Lodi Wine & Visitor Center to get an overview of the area/wineries. We spoke with Jeff who was friendly and helpful. We picked up a map and took a quick walk through the "sample" mini-vineyard that is right outside the center. They also offer tastings here, but... More

The Lodi Wine & Visitor Center has a wonderful assortment or local wines with an emphasis on zinfandel of course. They had in stock several wines that we had only "heard" about on our wine tasting outings at the vineyards. The tasting room is very large and pleasant.

The staff here is so helpful and knowledgeable. After we did a tasting they were able to map all the places we could visit for similar tastes.

Very helpful staff and the wines on offer change weekly; we went in first thing in the morning and received guidance on where to go in the area. Returning in the afternoon for a wine tasting we discovered that the tasting room has some wines that vineyards have run out of.
