This is a cut above the typical Mendocino bar, and features local art in addition to books and other fun gifts. The wine choices are by a sommelier and feature some which are not otherwise available in stores.

We enjoyed the Wine Bar(n) and felt so fortunate to have it attached to our B&B. The selection was great and the staff knowledgeable. I'm crazy about the contemporary rustic ambiance. Very cozy and hip.

From the delightful wine tasting upon checking in (try the Chenin Blanc if it's offered), to the breakfast on our deck overlooking llamas grazing nearby, this was a wonderful experience. Friendly staff, quiet building, with access to both the Little River beach (short walk) and a westerly facing headland (longer walk), we felt restored and appreciated as guests by staying... More

This was a repeat visit to this B&B and we stayed in Cobbler's Walk, Rachel's Cottage, which was very quiet, relaxing, and made for an enjoyable stay. Our outstanding memories will always include the super comfortable sheets and the friendly, resident llamas! And of course, John does one heck of a job with the breakfast served to our cottage.

Wonderful wines from local wineries. We bought a case of one of the wines we tried. They have a fridge with cheeses and meats and will pack you a picnic for a modest fee. While sipping wine, you can view the hanging art work and watch the birds and chickens in the yard.

So easy to make plans for the evening or the next day getting their recommendations. Decorated with local artists endeavors. Many local wines and snacks available for... More
