Right off Forest and Broadway about 1/2 mile from PCH this intimate theatre was a great time. $10 parking behind the theatre. comfortable seats, although our coats on a cold night made it a bit tight. Perfect for a local evening, easy in and out. Out-of-town guests we brought couldn't believe we weren't seeing shows here all the time! We... More

We saw the comedian Rita Rudner there on New Year's Eve and she was great. Afterwards they served champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and brownie chunks on skewers.

Hershey Felder, an extraordinary actor/pianist/singer/story teller, has composed a one-man show on the life of Irving Berlin that could not possibly be better. This two-hour show (that goes so fast that it is hard to believe that it is long) is a non-stop play using a concert grand piano in a pleasant living room with movies screened on the back... More

this play house has excellent seats throughout the theater. The plays are excellent, often with an all-star cast i.e. the names that are usually in the big lights. There is a bar with wine and beverages before the show. A nice location with parking nearby.

Each new season is better than a treasure chest at this charming little theater in Laguna Beach. Small, yet very comfortable and friendly. Even though you are surrounded by an audience mostly attired in Giorgio Armani, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Gucci, you always feel welcomed by these theater-loving locals. What this enchanting quaint playhouse lacks in lobby size... More

We saw The Year of Magical Thinking starring the wonderful Linda Purl with a seminal and electifying performance about the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity and loss. Her performance is not to be missed.

I had the good fortune to attend the opening of The Year of Magical Thinking at the Laguna Play House. A one person play, directed by Jenny Sullivan runs through November 2nd, 2014. The play comes with a very strong narrative by the novelist Joan Didion, of memories, events, emotional waverings (should she and her daughter leave her husband or... More

Saw a great show - Troubies: A Midsummer Saturday Night’s Fever Dream this weekend at the Laguna Playhouse. This is nice intimate theater where the performers can easily come into the audience and solicit audience participation as well as pulling others on to the stage to be a part of the show. Every seat is good seat for viewing and... More
