This park has more than a 180 degree views of the Pacific and views of the canyon lands inland. Tennis courts, kids play area, restrooms and mountain biking or hiking trails for miles. Very well maintained so keep it that way.

The long winding road that leads up to the top is worth it. At the top there are nice views in 360 degrees of the whole area. It is a nice park as well as trail head for hiking the Aliso and Wood Wilderness area.

High above the beach bungalows of Laguna Beach is Alta Laguna Park. There are ocean views from the park (and more from the drive up to it), but the more interesting views are of the canyons and the sprawl of South Orange County. Very much worth a visit.

I came across this playground park while headed to "Top if the World". Now it's one of my favorite and the most beautiful views at a playground park besides Main Beach of course. It's a semi steep road up but the homes are beautiful. It has a big play ground with structures for each age group. It has swings but... More

The view is awesome, as has been stated my most others and it was worth the long climb in the car to get there. But the trails were poorly marked in my opinion and, as a visitor, I wasn't sure how to gauge where to go or the nature of the trails in terms of difficulty. There is also no... More

Looking for a good cardio and leg workout to Top of the World? Then this is it! Start early for parking along Canyon Vistas, but be mindful of residents in the neighborhood. The first leg is literally a walk in the park until the dirt trail takes over. Hiking in the Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park involves sharing a... More

The views from this park, quite lovely with nothing blocking the views at all. The toys for small children are available, making it ideal for young families. Seldom is this park overly crowded. From this park taking a glorious hike is possible on the natural trail where dear are often seen in the a.m. along with coyotes walking alone. Friendly... More

I love this little park at the top of Laguna Beach, at the north end of Alta Laguna Blvd. (Drive up Park Avenue from Laguna Beach High School until it dead-ends and turn left. Drive a short distance and turn right into the park's parking area.) The park has a soccer and baseball field, six tennis courts, a half basketball... More

A lovely area for walking, hiking or picnicking. Make sure that you have directions since it's a little tricky to find. There's a nice playground for young children and restroom facilities at the beginning of the trails.

This park sits at the "top of the world" and offers some great views of the Aliso and Wood Canyon park, which is a great spot to go hiking and biking. The park has some play areas and a few sitting areas, and is a great spot to stop and check out the views. The drive up Park Ave is... More
