I visited it on a weekday around 2 pm and it was not crowded at all, but I heard it is better to go early in the morning if you... More

Take a leisurely walk along the bluff to see some of the most spectacular views in Laguna Beach. Though small, this park is a real treat. Venture away from the walkway and see the 9/11 Memorial, beautiful tile work and wonderful sculptures by local artists. If you are lucky you may get to watch a little lawn bowling along the... More

I lived in Laguna for many years and returning this week opened my eyes to some of the fantastic experience that we used to simply take for granted.

I lived in Laguna Beach for 30 years and now live about 10 miles away. Heisler Park is an affordable part of Laguna. There are picnic tables and barbeques available for use, with a fabulous ocean view (but not good swimming access) at Heisler. On busy days, people stake out their tables and barbeque early in the morning with token... More

Well worth it if you're in the area. Laguna Beach at its finest. Nice restaurants nearby. Interesting even when foggy.

The secondary name is "Picnic Beach." The park overlooks the uncrowded beach, has paved walkways, benches and seating areas with artists touches, barbeque grills with picnic tables, and you hear no street sounds. The beach is small but uncrowded, public restrooms, and lifeguard is on duty. There is max 4 hour metered parking @ $2.50 an hour or you can... More
