The way California use to be - before the paved over everything...natural, quiet, honest california coastline in all its natural glory.

Once you make it to the beach you'll forget the long walk. Beach is very nice. Ruby;s Snack Shack is a good lunch spot.

There are beautiful beaches on a premier part of the California coast, once private, now public, Crystal Cove has it all, from historic bungaloes to hiking trails in a canyon and on a ridge, mountain biking, and camping. What could be better?

A favorite beach of ours for many years. Worth the stop. Sit back, relax or take a hike. Lovely beach.

If you want to stroll (or run) on the beach, take the west entrance off PCH; otherwise turn... More

I have grown up in Southern California and never knew this place existed. If you dont want the poser crowds that go to Newport and Huntington, you need to visit Crystal Cove

I'm not a great beach lover, but I'd definitely make an exception with Crystal Cove. It's located just a few minutes up the PCH from Laguna downtown, but is a lot less crowded than other SoCal beaches. Flanked by pretty bluffs dotted with wildflowers and native plants, visitors can take different stairways or winding walkways down to the long and... More

My wife spent many summer days there when she was a child, so going back brings many memories. We bought a parking pass (which have now gone up from $125 to $175). But if you eat or have a drink at the restaurant (great martinis and salads), you get complimentary parking. The walk from the lot to the beach is... More
