I spent 10 days in la quinta in Dec, played 4 courses and this was the best. I tend to be a greens fee shopper and wont pay over $100. I got the Norman Course for $91 by going direct to the pro shop after trying unsuccessfully on Golf Now. Shop staff was very friendly, course was in perfect condition,... More

this course looks pretty but is not a creative or fun course to play. It is basically a hit it down the middle golf course with long straight fairways. If you do hit your ball off the fairway, you will be on hard dirt. It is not sand like Arizona or Florida courses. It is hard, really hard clay dirt.... More

I have played the Norman course at PGA West many times. It is a very well kept course with generous fairways. The golf carts are always clean and have GPS. It is pricey but a good golf outing

The handicaps for our group of 9 golfers ranged from 12 to 22. Everyone had a great time. The starter advised us to "stay on the green." The rough is crushed granite and is playable as long as your ball doesn't get trapped in brush. Some of the fairways are narrow but the rough is sloped to bring your ball... More

Great attentive staff, visually stuffing! very nice, very fair layout, as all Norman's courses are. He liked it!

This is a beautiful course that is fun to play that will not frustrate you too much if you are a high handicapper. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Chris and Rosie could not have been more helpful. Do not forget your camera there are some great shots.

My son and I played this course on a Wednesday. Relaxed pace on a stunningly beautiful and well kept course. One of the gems of the PGA West courses. I am an infrequent, high handicap golfer and yet thoroughly enjoyed playing this course.

Due to a lot of overseeding going on in the area, we had limited choices and found a deal on this place. It was probably the favorite for all of us this trip. Sure it was a challenge and the ball may not always listen, but overall a pleasure to play, staff were very friendly and the patio is quite... More

Nice complex up at PGA west but this is the least interesting of a nice trio you can play. You will play it cos you're there but had no desire to play it again. Greens ran at about a 9, fairly true, but a bit linear. Nothing to write home about. Sorry Greg!

One of the most attractive courses I've ever played; we went back the next day. There are long par 5s and tricky par 3s but the whole course is fair and just challenging enough. Very friendly and helpful staff.
