The course is in great shape

The grass is green an full. The greens roll great and are reasonably fast. Some. Tough holes. Some long and short holes. Easier and tougher holes. I'd certainly go back

The most beautiful course I have ever played. We played on Christmas day and had the course to ourselves. Immaculate shape from fairways to bunkers to greens. Everything was perfect. A pretty straight forward course and must play when in the area.

The course was a pleasure to play. Played there the middle of December. Was not too busy, or hot,the marshals are very friendly and the course is well laid out. Carts come with the green fees. No extra charges. Worth the money, which is less in low season which this was.

I spent 10 days in la quinta in Dec, played 4 courses and this was the best. I tend to be a greens fee shopper and wont pay over $100. I got the Norman Course for $91 by going direct to the pro shop after trying unsuccessfully on Golf Now. Shop staff was very friendly, course was in perfect condition,... More

this course looks pretty but is not a creative or fun course to play. It is basically a hit it down the middle golf course with long straight fairways. If you do hit your ball off the fairway, you will be on hard dirt. It is not sand like Arizona or Florida courses. It is hard, really hard clay dirt.... More

I have played the Norman course at PGA West many times. It is a very well kept course with generous fairways. The golf carts are always clean and have GPS. It is pricey but a good golf outing

The handicaps for our group of 9 golfers ranged from 12 to 22. Everyone had a great time. The starter advised us to "stay on the green." The rough is crushed granite and is playable as long as your ball doesn't get trapped in brush. Some of the fairways are narrow but the rough is sloped to bring your ball... More

This is a beautiful course that is fun to play that will not frustrate you too much if you are a high handicapper. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Chris and Rosie could not have been more helpful. Do not forget your camera there are some great shots.

My son and I played this course on a Wednesday. Relaxed pace on a stunningly beautiful and well kept course. One of the gems of the PGA West courses. I am an infrequent, high handicap golfer and yet thoroughly enjoyed playing this course.
