Best golf course in La Quinta for views and service. Some holes are free from luxury homes-just you and nature. The whole experience was a pleasure-the pro shop check in to drinks in clubhouse afterwards (beautiful view as well) made the afternoon the highlight of our trip.

I've played a lot of golf in the Desert and this course is still one of the most visually awe inspiring courses. From the driving range - where you literally hit into the mountain to the view of almost every single hole. The one down side is the 18th. You literally go through the most incredible 17 holes of golf... More

This course is a bit dry in some places and the first few greens are a little tore up but the overall beauty is breathtaking. Several holes play along the beautiful Santa Rosa mountains and some of the greens have signifigant speed and break to them. Well worth playing if you can get an online deal.

The back 9 is wonderfull, Nothing to dislike atall it's truly amazing ,great condition ,helpfull in the clubhouse and the starters ,also drinks are in the buggy and golf balls. On the range free

For a Sunday morning, the course played quick & we didn't have to wait at all. The front 9 is nice but the back 9 is spectacular. Great views! Course us in really good shape. Worth the round for just under $100. Downside; The driving range doesn't allow practice of woods.

Just played the course; please play somewhere else. After reading all reviews of public access courses in the area, I settled on this and it was very disappointing. Very poor conditioning, and actually a very uninteresting design. Only played Faldo Course at Marriott Shadow Ridge but that was much better in conditioning and overall interest.

Great course with signature 16th hole 150 yard par 3. Great service too. Course is recovering from an apparent flood. Lots of patches of transplanted grass. But it will be back... Discounted rates through recovery period. Played the course twice this week.

very nice course. still recovering from floods last summer. many areas re-sodded. Last 5 holes are worth the trip.

Both golf courses here are interesting, especially the back-9 on the Mountain Course. But take a pass on the MD Grill in the clubhouse pre or post-round. The menu is odd and the service is terribly slow...but when I saw them serving salads in metal bowls...like standard-issue metal kitchen bowls (that double as dog dishes in my house)...my mouth dropped.... More
