The early morning flight into Palm Springs allows us to get nine holes in on our first day and so we decided to play a course on the resort we were staying at. We got a shuttle to the course and the great service started there and continued through the Pro Shop, starter, club cleaner, and wait staff in the... More

My wife and I played the Mountain course at the La Quinta Resort recently, the course was extremely enjoyable. Each hole was a unique with some holes visually intimidating (typical of a Pete Dye design). Compared to the Dunes course, the Mountain course was more friendly and enjoyable. The course conditions were in great shape, the fairways generous, the greens... More

Visiting from England, and fans of Pete Dye's courses at Harbour Town and Sawgrass we had a great time playing The Mountain Course. Reception staff were helpful and accommodating allowing us to walk the course as a 2 ball. The starter was a genial, jolly chap who was a delight to talk to, as were the few marshalls we encountered.... More

This challenging golf course is great from the time you enter the grounds until you finish your round. The holes are relative,y long and difficult for intermediate golfers. If you want a course that leaves you satisfied that the round was worth it, play this course.

I spent two rounds of golf in La Quinta, with three mates, only to play golf, and the experience was great, The casita accomodation is good, and the hole place is much more than golf. We didn't use all the facilities, but is much than golf.

The golf course was located approx 15 minutes walking from my room. I played in an event in early October. Evenin October, the temps reached 106 degrees. Outside staff was very friendly and professional. Staff does a great job at offering water. The course had nto overseeded yet, so playing conditions very good. This would be a great place to... We spent a week at La Quinta and played several excellent golf courses in the PGA West group. Each was in great condition with beautiful greens....except the Mountain Course. I understand the overseeding process will occur in the next few weeks, but the greens were dreadful..... I understand the flooding last year may have caused grass problems, but why in... More

This was our first visit to the Palm Springs area and as avid golfers, we had to check this course out. It had just reopened a week prior after some renovation and while remnants of that work remained, we were still very pleased with our experience. There is just nothing like this course where we are from and playing in... More

Beautiful plateau with very pleasant relief from the heat down below, with lots of well-signed walks. We did an easy 3-hour walk through lovely woods on well-designated footpaths.

Average resort course with some hard and easy holes,, some holes are hard and others are very easy, it will depend on the wind and how hard it is blowing.. reasonably easy to get around.
