Weather was absolutely perfect the entire week. Greens were in excellent condition. I found the overall layout ok. Has a few really good holes that are very challenging. If I were to go back I would choose any of the courses at PGA west over these two but there pretty good if your looking for a change.

La Quinta Resort "Dunes" course is at times amazing and other times boring! The overall course is great, fairways and greens were awesome! Greens were receptive, semi tough but rolled true & fair! Lots of bunkering and they were in great shape! Tees were weird, small & most were NOT FLAT...?!! Lots of "areas under long term construction" and some... More

The courses are in horrible condition, the range was CLOSED over the noon hour, staff offer little if any service, and there are limited if any yardage markers when you land in the middle of the fairway. Mountain or the Dunes, they are just a waste of time. Great views but you can get that anywhere is Palm Springs. Spend... More

We have been playing Dunes and Mountain for the last 25 years and we liked it. The staff is very nice and helpful. This year, we were told that there were quite some damages after bad weather late 2014. Many other courses also had damages, but Dunes and Mountain are still in poor shape. If we would have known, we... More

We played this course for the first time on January 27, 2015. It is an excellent course for all levels of players. Friendly staff and the course was in very good condition.

Paid $86 which was better then Golf Now. Called direct to pro shop and they told me Golf Now does a mark up, learned something. The property suffered from rain damage in Sept and is still coming back. Course was in good shape, fun to play, I would play it again.

The course has flooded for the last two years and they just got it back in shape to play, although cart path only. Mountain course was still closed at Thanksgiving. This is another wide open fun course. Just stay out of the rough, you will never find your ball.
