Nice hiking/biking

We like to hike and bike and had a lot of fun over by Lake Cahuilla. Had a little picnic in the day camping area by the lake. It wasn't far from where we stayed in PGA West and it... read more

We've camped in a lot of beautiful places and live on a huge lake in Idaho so take this with a grain of salt: this is not a pretty spot. It's a small man-made reservoir with some trees and several camping sites but, lush it ain't. Still, if you need a camping place for a night or two and you... More

We just drove out to look around, weren't that impressed, so didn't stay. Maybe another time we'll spend more time to see more of what's available or happening there.

Everyone has their opinion right? Ours, WE LOVED IT. Different sections to camp. You have your Equestrian area, dry camp and you have hook ups in another. Few, full hooks ups. We had the perfect spot. We can have a campfire. No BBQs that I seen, bring one. Restrooms and showers (clean). I noticed the workers cleaning just about every... More

What a surprise for us to find this LAKE near the Mountains, loved seeing this beautiful park, the mountains and pure beautiful water - how refreshing in the desert. The Jacaranda trees were all in full bloom so that was gorgeous. It was early May so noone was around....loved it!!

Do know what I was expecting but it falls a little flat. Small lake, a little grass, a few picnic tables and a few trees. That's all.

They stock this lake with trout, there are also good sized cat fish an an occasional bass. Trout fishing really tapers off after mid March

This is a man made lake but it feels so natural and quiet. You can relax, or paddle boat or ride a pedal boat, they rent them onsite. You can also fish for sport. I had a good time at this lake.

Very nice area to bike, in fact, triathlons happen in this lake, also, I saw nice RV and tent areas directly on the lake. Nice place.

Oh boy is the previous reviewer correct! We were actually charged admission to this park plus one dollar for our dog. Just as we resigned ourselves to make the best of a bad situation and settled in to our picnic, the shooting began...first rifles and then what sounded like automatic weapons! We finished quickly and left having a chuckle at... More
