went on a day when the surf was 3-4 feet. it was hard to get out on the ocean, but once we were past the surf we were good to go. the guys that work there are really good. wear water shoes if you dont want to lose your sandals in the ocean, you are going to get wet! More

My son and I rented a kayak from La Jolla Kayak which is about a block from the water. The kayaks are easily accessible on the beach. The water in the cove is fairly gentle. There is no fear of capsizing. You can do a tour but we chose to paddle on our own over to the caves and around... More

Had a great time with Cory and Meg on their 2 hour tour of the 7 caves. Lots of great insight on the area around the beaches as well as the wildlife and the marine life. More

We took a kayaking trip with our two kids (ages 11 and 8), and had a fantastic time. The guides (Shane and Ally) were awesome. We were a little hesitant taking the kids, but the guides made it fun and easy. The kids had an absolute blast! More

We did a bike and kayak tour on a drizzly, foggy day but had a great time despite! My husband and I were the only two people signed up for the bike tour and the guides offered us some choice of routes. Our guide took time to point out lots of great sites along the way, let us explore some... More

We did tandem kayaking on a Sunday morning, and it was really nice. It definately took some major arm work. There were two guides, and they were very supportive and shared a lot of great information about the scenery. We only saw some birds and sea lions, no fish or leopard sharks, which was disappointing, but it was still a... More

We went kaying in La Jolla cove on a day when the waves were the largest all year. Because of this, we could not see the caves, but we had a great time anyway. Seals came to swim near us, which was awesome. There was a woman in our group who could not swim and did not went a wetsuit... More

Thank you for the nice review. It is always such a disappointment when the conditions don't allow us to take guests into the caves. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your tour any how. More

We chose this specific company based on the likeable presentation of the tour guide that we heard while we were on a cliff and the tour was floating below. Although one of us (me) became kayak-phobic seeing the conditions on our day, our guide offered to paddle me around in a two! We all kayaked easily, enjoyed the sun and... More
