Good place to relax and enjoy the California feeling. If possible do not go on the weekends. The parking lot gets pretty crowded.

Well this is one of the most well groomed planned and lively beaches in california. Located along the sea shore of one of the most affluent communities, strictly speaking this is not a typical beach. One is not allowed to reach to the sea directly in most part of it. Only one or two sea contact points have been created.... More

The beach here seems to be very family-oriented. There were kids and families running around all over the place. Despite that, there seems to be room for all including surfers, sunbathers, divers, and kayakers.

Lots of surfers when we were there, but not at all crowded. Very nice for sun-soaking and people-watching. Parking is tough, but not impossible, and free.

View is amazing and relaxing. Parking a car isn't very easy, a hassle to find a spot nearby, but since there are aslo a lot of nice shopping places it's not bad just walking around also. If you are lucky you can spot some whales alongside the coastline, but you have to watch closely, you will find most people a... More

My church high school group would come here every Wednesday night during the summer. Great for big groups and family events.

View is amazing and relaxing. Finding a parking space so you can enjoy the view is a challenge. We went on a Thursday in late September, and it took awhile to find parking. My husband was it is quite built up from his college days. But it was worth the frustration, once we found a place, to relax and enjoy... More

GORGEOUS! This area is a must see. The seals are fun to see as well (they stink) but it is fun to see them up close! :)

Great for families. Two bathrooms with showers. A playground by lifeguard tower 33. Ocean split in three: surfers, swimmers, kayakers. Beautiful.
