Gorgeous!

Beautiful beach, worth the visit. Be sure to bring a camera. Take a walk along the cove, you may even see some seals relaxing in the area.

This area is crawling with people. If you like to people watch, this may be the place. It also depends if the seals are there or not.

A park to celebrate, picnics, taking rest and a beach on one side makes a perfect combination. Lots of sea lions action can be seen. Good place to visit. but parking is a problem.

La Jolla Cove and La Jolla Cliffs are so close to paradise. Just off of Neptune Street the shores hit the cliffs with remarkable tide pools and admirable waves. Surf's most definitely up. When the tide is low the cliffs have shallow but intricate sculptured caves. But, please by all means stay until sunset and let those florescent colors take... More

La Jolla Cove is a pocket beach in La Jolla, California, about 10 miles north of downtown San Diego. The coast here is composed of bluffs and some pocket beaches. At the North end of La Jolla is La Jolla Shores which is a gradual beach good for kids and families, because the water is clamer and well guarded. The... More

This is a highly publicized area of downtown La Jolla. The world famed seals use the cove as a natural habitat and they birth their pups right on the sand. Definitely worth the time to visit while in La Jolla.

I would give this a 5 but I have to hold back one star for the lack of parking. This can be an issue if you have lots of stuff or small kids that don't like to walk to far. Otherwise, this is a great thing to do for a day in San Diego. It's free! That's always awesome. You... More

Awesome place to watch waves crash into cove while sun is setting. Make sure to get there early enough to find a parking space and then relax on the rocks overlooking cove and watch the waves come crashing in. Just beautiful. One of our favorite things we did on our vacation
