My wife took me here for my 50th and the walk around the area was so relaxing with fabulous views. Seeing the pelicans, seals and other wildlife in their own environment was fantastic. Had a great sunset and a great meal.

What a shame that the huge numbers of seals, pelicans and cormorants have made it generally too nauseating to visit this gorgeous location. Many people were there so maybe if you have a high tolerance for revolting aromas, you'll be able to enjoy it.

There is a reason the nickname for this place is 'Seal Beach'. There are loads of them! - Especially around this time of year when many of the pregnant Seals come back to chill before giving birth have mating season (spring to summer). Although the weather wasn't that great when I visited today, it was still worth it to see... More

Beautiful view of the coastline, up close with the seals, gorgeous sunsets standing on the rocks as the surf pounds and crests! A must-see place to go when visiting San Diego!!!

It has very beautiful scenery with fresh air. Sea water is very clean and there are so many fur seals. Many restaurants and cafes are located.

Not much space to park. Its a little bit hard to find, unless you know where your going. A very nice place to see the sea lions. Usually a cute little stop. But if you miss this one it will not ruin your life.

I host a lot of couchsurfers and friends and family in San Diego. There has never been a visitor in the history of visitors who didn't like La Jolla Cove. Everyone wants to go there and no one has been disappointed yet. The seals are always a big hit, but there's so much more. Go kayaking or diving, walk the... More

We like coming to the La Jolla Cove each time we are in San Diego. The park is enjoyable and is so pleasant at all times of the day.

I love to show off La Jolla Cove to visitors and at times I find myself there just for a good laugh at the seals and sea lions. The smell may cause you to hold your breath but the abundance of wild life is worth the trouble.

La Jolla Cove is soooo beautiful, lovely part nearby overlooking the ocean too. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby also. I would recommend spending time in this area as there is so much to do and see.
