Bibi is a fabulous instructor and you are sure to learn something new while enjoying a delicious meal at one of her cooking classes. I attended her Gluten free Moroccan class recently--a gift from my husband--and am now inspired to explore this wonderful cuisine further. With Bibi's hands-on demonstration and helpful tips, I'm looking forward to sharing some wonderful new... More

I took my wife here for a surprise date because she had wanted to take a cooking class. Here Bibi cooks with you showing useful tips as she goes along. She was very friendly and professional. In fact, she worked with me tremendously so I could attend her class in the place. Since I am in the military and was... More

I was given a gift certificate for my birthday for a cooking class. I love cooking and that was a creative and thoughtful gift. I attended Harvard Cookin' Girl sushi class with my husband. Our friend had told us that the instructor and owner Bibi is the daughter of a famous poet whose poem Arash Kamangir is one of my... More

Dear Shohreh- This is the first time I get a review so emotional to me and am sure for you the writer of these words. I just read it and cried. This business is truly dedicated to my parents who have encouraged me to be who I want to be and you captured it all. Thank you so much. It... More

My 5 daughters and I, a daughter in law and a niece all enjoyed a girl's retreat in the San Diego area last weekend. We discovered Harvard Cookin' Girl in La Jolla and signed up to take a group private cooking class as one of our special activities together. Bibi and her two assistants were so friendly and fun to... More

Bibi made delicious food, definitely something I would make for my family. It was a little on the pricey side but I would consider doing it again. Great for a girls night out.

Dear Mette- The type of class the nine of you chose was called "sip and stir" and is a social format class. However I set up different stations for all of you to prep part of the food. The fact that you and everyone else calls the food delicious and ask for recipes is that I control the outcome. The... More

Bibi is warm, welcoming, and not intimidating. She obviously has a wealth of knowledge about spices and several different types of cuisine. It was fun to be able to spend a few hours learning how to cook from her. The class seemed a little overpriced for what we received. I was expecting lots of hands-on instruction and a gourmet lunch.... More

Bibi was friendly and fun. Delicious food and a good time. A little over priced for how little we actually cooked. But a fun 1 time thing. Might consider going back for an open class to learn more about spices since a cheaper price, hopefully we have more hands on though.

I recently attended “Moroccan Chicken” night at the Harvard Cookin' Girl kitchen in La Jolla and it was it was a delight! Bibi gracefully went through all the steps in preparing this delicious meal with special attention paid to the variety of spices and how to use them to ensure that the wonderful flavors shine through…and they did! It was... More
