I am 29 years old, my beautiful and talented girlfriend is moving to SF in one month, we have been living together almost one year. One of the things she introduce me to is eating healthy and with great flavor. I never understood how she could pull that off. She would sometimes cook something so fast and so delicious that... Bibi is not only knowledgeable about quality food and preparation but is also professional and interesting to talk to. Her kitchen is immaculate (a pet peeve of mine) and the passion she has for cooking and sharing her recipes is obvious. At the end of the 2 hour cooking lesson and after dessert, she treated us to a cup of... More

We were 4 couples all expecting an excellent experience for $55/person, yet were served a yoghurt sauce with a slice of bread for an appetizer, with the intention for the sauce to be served with our main meal as well, but we were all so hungry that we finished it by the time we ate the main meal. The main... More

We had a wonderful evening with Bibi in a small, intimate group (just 2 couples). Her studio in downtown La Jolla is amazing. Great design and layout - a very fun place to spend your evening. I'm not sure what part we enjoyed more, the meal, or talking with Bibi. She's a wonderful host, super high energy, and has amazing... More

Are you looking for something different to add to your cooking repertoire? If so, this is the ticket. There's easy parking (right out front) and Bibi makes you feel like you just walked into her home!! It's very inviting and low-key ---it's like you're watching her cook in her own kitchen and you get to sample everything she makes --... More

I love Indian food, but even though I am a pretty good home cook I had never dreamed of attempting Indian food at home... until I learned the secrets to delicious, healthy, simple Indian cooking for a crowd at one of Bibi's Indian cooking classes! In the lovely, intimate setting of the Harvard Cookin' Girl kitchen studio Bibi skillfully and... More

Bibi is one of La Jolla's true gems. She makes cooking fun, easy, inspiring and delicious. The classroom at HCG was designed for small cooking classes and is the perfect setting to spend a few special hours in La Jolla. As a local, I took a few friends to join one of Bibi's classes and we were equally impressed! HCG... More

Bibi, the founder of HCG, is an amazing chef. She can help you make anything from simple desserts to fine dinner. She makes everything look so simple but the taste is simply the best. I never thought baking and cooking can be so easy! One of my favorite dish of hers would be the whole chicken. She seasons a whole... More

I was at HCG on a business trip and got invited to sit on an corporate event there. The food was delicious, the spot was very inviting, and people were very friendly and informative about the food. I think it's a great spot for corporate events to hang out and break the ice. Give it a try! More

After our performance of Scarlet Stone ,a multi media dance/theatre piece, at UCSD which by the way was based on a poem by Bibi's father, Bibi invited the cast to her shop for an after performance party. We were so grateful to her for her hospitality and the food samples were fantastic. My favorite being the baby croiasants, they were... More
