This was a neat little find. My wife and I were walking around the La Jolla Cove area and came across this little shop by accident. I think we paid $4 each to check out the cave. Walking down the stairs is definitely tight, especially when you have people coming up the stairs too. I would not recommend it if... More

As we were looking for our kayaking place in La Jolla shores, we stopped here for directions. The gentleman was very helpful. We enjoyed the kayaking; we saw sea lions, dolphin, cormorants, and pelicans. We returned to La Jolla Cave and Shell Shop to see the hand-dug cave to the caves. This was so interesting. The shop was ok; reasonably priced but a little on the beaten side. But you go down some stairs from the shop into the back of a cave. The opening of the cave looks just like a mans head. The view inbetween is of crashing blue waves, the shores around the bay and normally blue sky. Very much worth stopping... More

This Sea Shell shop has such a unique collection of jewlery, sea shells, collector items, and gifts at a surprisingly reasonable price. Just around the corner and down the hill from the Living Room Coffee shop, it is worth dropping by on your walk down to the ocean, very sweet shop and friendly customer service too! I highly recommend this... More
