This is a fantastic place to see seals sunning themselves in the early morning. One of many things that should definitely be experiences in La Jolla. More

The beach is gorgeous and seeing the seals in their natural habitat is so cool! Very neat to just relax and watch them and listen to the ocean. The beautiful surroundings make it perfect! More

The children's Pool is a great place for locals and tourist alike to view sea life in its natural habitat. Its also ground zero for environmental wakos and those residents who want to see the area returned to a place for human sun bathing. The sea wall between the beach and the ocean makes a perfect observation tower for seals... More

San Diego has about 70 miles of coastline. Of that, there is about 50 meters where you can consistently see seals sunning themselves, and it's a truly wonderful sight. For some reason, there are some people who want to kick the seals out and use this tiny fraction of the coast for themselves. Yes, it's true that this beach was... More

Free entertainment. You can see so many seals lounging in the sun and swimming near the rocks. Evidently used to be a place where children swam, but only saw seals there. There are a couple of benches to sit and watch the seals for a while, if you are lucky enough to get one. More
