You will not find a more economical course where you can play the same course as the pros. Booked about a month in advance, paid the $43 booking fee (per person) to guarantee a time. Played the north course with only $100 green fees. Even though the south course is more famous as it hosted a US Open in 2008... More

Played the North Course at Torrey Pines in May 2014 and it was a fantastic experience. I did not contact the course in time to book a tee time on the South Course which is the venue for all the pro tournaments. Nonetheless, the North Course was outstanding and, since it's a public course owned and operated by the City... More

My wife was travelling to San Diego on business so i took it as an opportunity for me to tag along and to check off one of my bucket list golf courses. The South course at Torrey Pines definitely lived up to the hype. It was a postcard at every turn, It is God's country up there overlooking the pacific.... More

My husband is an avid golfer and to be able to visit Torrey Pines was an amazing moment for him. Our family was on vacation from Houston, TX and he didn't schedule a tee-time but, we will next time. This iconic location is beautiful and we were allowed to look around a bit. The view from the deck outside the... More

First, things to know: 1) If you're a single you won't have a problem walking onto either course almost any day of the week, provided they don't have a shotgun start option that day. 2) You can rent a cart, but it's not included in the advertised green fee. It's $45 to ride 18 on the South during the week... More

We stopped on our drive through Torrey Pines to visit the pro shop and see the course. Surprising how close to the road the course is located. The course looked beautiful and had spectacular ocean views. The pro shop was well stocked and we found plenty of gear for our 9 year old son.

My son and I played the South course on a perfect day. Wind was a factor, but we didn't care as the round was so enjoyable. We got a tee time about 60 days in advance by calling the # on the website. I left a message the first time, but called back after 3 days and actually talked to... More

Great place to take a tandem glider flight! You just run off the cliff then soar! They get busy on weekends and holidays so call for a reservation if you want to do more than watch.

We played the twilight rate which saves quite a bit. Easy enough to get a tee time if you're staying nearby. We were at the Hilton. A short 7 iron to the pro shop. Magnificent setting. Great holes. Loved every minute.

So beautiful. I loved the outdoor setting, the comfy couches to sit on, the view, the food, the lodge itself...all just amazing.
