Did this with my 12 year old daughter and we had a great time. We did the snorkel/kayak trip. Our guide, Mike, was great. Saw leopard sharks,sting rays, sea lions, lots of fish. more

My husband and I decided to have a local adventure and went kayaking in La Jolla. We have only kayaked one other time in Catalina so we are relatively amateurs. Our family group,ages 8 to 83, had a blast on this tour. The guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A pod of dolphins met us part of the way to the caves and although getting out thru the breakers and surfing our way back in to the beach were thrill rides, the rest of the trip was hard work... more

We booked a half day tour. We found a coupon on a San Diego visitors site (you can google for san diego coupons and discounts) so we saved 20%. We started at noon with kayaking in the Pacific Ocean. I have had experience only in a tandem/double kayak, so being in a single was more work and very exhausting but... more
