we chose this activity to see the beach from a different perspective. Mary and Milton were excellent guides! They were very knowledgeable and friendly. I loved going into the cave and seeing everything up close. It was a fun two hour trip with a fun group.

M & I used our free afternoon in San Diego to duck over to LaJolla and join a kayak tour from "Bike and Kayak Tours - La Jolla" .. GREAT DECISION!! We have experience kayaking, but there were others on our tour who did not, and the guides' coaching and instruction helped them get off to a smooth start and... More

Staff were courteous and professional. We did the kayak and snorkel tour. Equipment was in good condition and there were locker rentals at the office for things-we-didn't-want-wet. Guides were friendly and helpful. The tour wasn't anything earth-shattering. No fault of the guides but there just isn't much to see, especially at high tide when you can't get into the caves. The... Kids aged 8 & 11 had a great time and the scenery was breathtaking but the inability to enter all but one cave, for about 20 seconds, was not cool. Getting from sign up in to the water also took a really long time despite being there in the off-season. One guide was enthusiastic, the other blasé.

I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to handle the hills, but we had so much fun riding around LaJolla. Our guide was delightful and very informative. So much fun and great way to see LaJolla.

We did this tour with my siblings and their spouses. It took a while to get all geared up and get everything we didn't need in their lockers (bring money for that). Once we got to the beach it took a little while to get going, but once we were out there, it was really fun. It is a good... More

This was our first time Kayaking and it was recommended by Trip Advisor (thanks TA), to book through San Diego Bike & Kayak. There are other companies but you stated that they had large groups and SD Bike & Kayak did not. You were right! Our group had only 5 of us and the other companies in the cove had... More

Family of (4), we booked a kayak tour of the 7 caves. Parking is really hard in that town, everything is on-street. So give yourself extra time before you check in to find a place. Despite having reservations, check-in was crazy busy but they got us through in about 15 mins. Then it was a 2 block walk to the... More

We booked a cave tour to see the sea lions. We had 2 guides who started very late. One guy was so pleased with himself and kept making awful jokes and telling us boring info. All we wanted to do was go in the cave and see the sea lions along with leopard sharks on the way over. They didn't... More

5 of us booked a sunset kayak tour of the sea caves at La Jolla. When we arrived, the place was a mob scene of like-minded people waiting for the tour. The sign in process went smoothly with the help of the friendly staff, most of whom are tour guides as well. The actual process of getting out on the... More
