I did the Kayak & Snorkel Tour and it was the greatest experience of my life! I was travelling alone and had never lived an experience like this but the staff of Bike & Kayak made me feel really comfortable and confident. It made a huge difference because the tour guide Tyler was extremely dedicated, so I felt safe all... More

They were rude, not at all helpful, more interested in showing off their bodies then helping an older man get into and out of a kayak. They called me in, then turned away, the wave turned me over, I hit my head on the bottom, swallowed water, only to have them laughing about the "old man" who got "wiped out".... More

Friendly staff in store. Good set up with changing areas, lockers and showers. Used our Go San Diego card so that was nice, but still had extra costs on wet suits and locker. The wet suits were a bit frayed and one of our snorkel masks wouldn't keep a seal, which was pretty frustrating. But overall, decent and close to... More

We did this tour on a beautiful, unseasonably hot day at the end of November. Another plus was a very calm ocean, so we didn't have to battle out through the huge waves which often come into this beach. Eddie, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He told us about the different habitats. Going into the big cave was a... More

All ages and experience levels were with us. Knowledgeable and safety conscious guides. We saw dr Seuss house and the names of some caves. We were allowed to enter one with a guide and relatively low tides. Do not enter the cave without a guide your first time in La Jolla historical and biological issues explained. Just loved it

My friend and I went on the 7 caves tour and had a blast. Our guides were Melissa and Nico and they did a great job of keeping us safe and entertained. The surf was a bit rough so we didn't get to go into any caves but we learned about each of them and the nature preserve we were... More

we chose this activity to see the beach from a different perspective. Mary and Milton were excellent guides! They were very knowledgeable and friendly. I loved going into the cave and seeing everything up close. It was a fun two hour trip with a fun group.

M & I used our free afternoon in San Diego to duck over to LaJolla and join a kayak tour from "Bike and Kayak Tours - La Jolla" .. GREAT DECISION!! We have experience kayaking, but there were others on our tour who did not, and the guides' coaching and instruction helped them get off to a smooth start and... More

Staff were courteous and professional. We did the kayak and snorkel tour. Equipment was in good condition and there were locker rentals at the office for things-we-didn't-want-wet. Guides were friendly and helpful. The tour wasn't anything earth-shattering. No fault of the guides but there just isn't much to see, especially at high tide when you can't get into the caves. The... Kids aged 8 & 11 had a great time and the scenery was breathtaking but the inability to enter all but one cave, for about 20 seconds, was not cool. Getting from sign up in to the water also took a really long time despite being there in the off-season. One guide was enthusiastic, the other blasé.
