Super friendly staff, best prices for rentals, and the gear is good. I rented a foam board and westsuit for the afternoon and I think it cost like $25.

My 3 teenage daughters and my husband took a 1.5 hour surf lesson at Surf Diva and it was a great experience! We checked in at the Surf Diva store and Iris gave great directions to the beach and where to meet the instructors (5 minute walk). The 2 instructors were excellent! There were 2 other people in the group... More

We used an Amazon local coupon to rent two stand up paddleboards for 1/2 day. They recommended wetsuits as the water temp was still around 60F so we rent two perfectly good, clean suits for $5 each and carried our boards the 5 minute walk to the ocean. Be sure to watch for the chickened flag and avoid paddling or... More

Surf Divas instructors got me surfing on my very first lesson. I didn't expect to even get up on the board, but through their patient and expert instruction, I was able to ride a wave on my very first lesson. Everything about surf diva is top notch, from the wetsuits to the instructors to the shop. If you're at all... More

This was our family's first trip to the San Diego area and my daughter wanted to try surfing. Surf Diva Surf School was close by so we gave them a try and were not disappointed. We chose the 1.5 hour private lesson calling in the morning and scheduling a lesson for just a few hours later. In comparing surf schools,... More

I called the day before I wanted my daughter to get lessons. They had several options but we chose the private 1 hour option. The ladies in the office were just average. The directions to whre you meet on the beach could have been better. "Follow the side walk until it end and there is a red tent." Some idea... More

My two teenage kids took surfing lessons from Surf Diva. The instructors were excellent. They spent the necessary time to go over safety issues as well as show the kids how to surf. While in the water the instructors were right there and made sure everything went well and made sure everyone had a fun time. The kids loved it.... More

My kids did a week-long session of day camp in June and then two separate days and an individual surf lesson with Kristin in July. It was the highlight of their summer. They were thrilled to be surfing by the second day of camp. They had a variety of instructors and all of them were great with kids, empowering them... More
