We were fortunate that although there were some clouds we had a spectacular view from the overlook of the mouth of the Klamath River. It was spectacular. There is also interesting Native American fishing community on this road, as well as very nice historic Requa Inn.

This road isn't for the faint of heart, but if you do manage to make it to the top at the overlook, you are rewarded with awesome vistas. The road is just wide enough for two cars to pass--that's is. There is also a delightful hotel about half-way up, which would have been an excellent place to have dinner. We... More

Drive up here if you are not behind the wheel of a large camper, the view is spectacular. We stumbled up this and saw whales, seals and the salmon running.

You need to drive up there to see the mouth of Klamath River meet the ocean. Beautiful view! Really interesting when the salmon are running and you can watch all the activity from there. Bring binoculars.

If you're in the area, don't miss this view of the Klamath River meeting the sea. We didn't see whales, but other people did. Patience pays off!

I couldn't do this drive last year in my 2wd because the unpaved road was very muddy and it's not the place I want to be slippin' & slidin'. But it is well worth the drive when the road is relatively dry. You reach the Klamath overlook via a very narrow, twisty and steep road that passes the charming, secluded,... More

While we didn't get a great vista view because of fog at the time we were there, the view of the immediate area was still excellent.

What a wonderful view. However I don't suggest you do this road if you are scared of heights. I got amazing pictures from this area.

Requa Road leads to a beautiful views but is treacherous part of the time, washes out during storms and is one lane in many places.

This isn't all that far off the highway and the view is amazing! A nice place to get out into the fresh air and enjoy a great view before continuing on with your travels.
