My wife and I booked a day tour thru this company and we really had a great time. Brian the owner was very helpful and made us feel welcomed at his bar and also on his boat. Brian did warn us that it was off season but we still had a great day catching fish the size of goldfish. Lunch... More

I went when Brian was not available, not sure if that was a good idea.. The Cambodia skipper did not seem to care how he made way through big swells and I could see some were alarmed. I caught some fair fish, but really the small fish should have been thrown back to live another day,,,no chance! No life jackets... More

We had a nice day, though we made sure Brian was going to be on board after reading a review on here. There were 10 of us or so, lots of room on board. It's well organized, completely worry free. There are 2 fellows who bait your hooks and remove fish. I often removed the little ones myself and threw... More

I jumped at the chance to get aboard a $35 fishing trip, especially being a fellow kiwi I though if anyone should know how to catch fish he could. So after finding out Brian wasn't going to be our captain for the day we had two deck hands barely 20 years of age along with an English bloke who seemed... More

We had a great day out on the water. Fish plentiful even though not a great size. The deckhands are available to bait your hooks and take your fish off if you are lucky to catch them. As a parent I felt safety could be an issue- did not see any life jackets and were not given any instructions on what... More

This Sunday was the third time I had been in the Fisherman's Den. The advertisement board outside told of Sunday Roast - chicken/lamb - $5.25. So I chose the lamb, it was a fine roast dinner, however, when I came to pay. I was charged $6.50. I now discovered the lamb was more than the chicken, even though the advertisement... More

As the previous reviewer stated, $35 for a full day of fishing, plenty caught although nothing huge, lots of coral cod and one fella caught a Moray Eel. Lunch was included, a very meaty beef stew of which you could get as many helpings as you like. You also received a catch of the day dinner back at Brian's (the... More

We didn't arrive in Snooky looking for a fishing charter but when we saw a guidebook make mention of Fisherman's Den we headed up to the bar to check it out. $35 for a full day deep sea fishing, lunch provided, snorkeling of the islands & dinner back at Fisherman's Den was enough for us to jump at the idea!...
