It is a weird sculpture of a golden lion pair. Being an artist I have been contemplating what drives grown-up people to commission and approve of such stylistically childish sculptures on a major city square? Of no definable style, not a caricature and nothing of a realistic intent, somewhere in between on a murky twilight of style and decorative intent. More

The Golden Lions is a Sihanoukville landmark sitting in the middle of a Traffic Circle. It is rather distinctive, even if not the world's best sculpture of lions. I found it handy as a landmark as I made my way around that part of town. More
