This is better than Serendipity but not great. Most restaurants serve the same food and since they don't kown about the future developments of the beach, they only sign short-term lease (six months) which means that nobody is going to invest in the decoration & building. This situation remains like this for MANY years and this explains the relatively poor... More

Ochheuteal Beach was just 2 minutes away from my hotel, so every now and then I would grab a can of Angkor and head to this beach. Unlike many Asian beaches which has a rather narrow focus on the foreign crowd, this one caters to both indigenous khmer and foreign tourists. This, for me, was a great opportunity to mingle... This beach is nice at sunset but take some mosquito repellant and keep your sense of humour and wallet close in check. Good BBQ seafood aplenty on deck chairs at sunset is a nice chill. The cafes and restaurants along the beach are open slather for any walking vendor selling food and trinkets even if you've purchased something from the... More

a bit further down from Serendipity beach, this is the side all the khmer tourists go to, i quite prefer this side sometimes, you dont get all the sellers and beggers and its nice to mix with all the asian tourist away from all the backpackers

This is a little bit less crowded beach. I felt the only good thing here was to eat dinner and watch the sunset at one of the many restaurants that all look alike and sell the same average food. It's good to see early in the morning and late at night.

never recommend it to people who just want a quite and nice place for their vacation. Better go to otres Beach which the sand is more clean and not as much people around. I didn't really like the fact that this beach had too many people and too much garbage on the sand.

WHO WOULD WANT TO GO ALL THE WAY TO CAMBODIA AND GO TO SERENDIPITY BEACH TO EAT ITALIAN, or British or Pizza and all that sort of rubbish. You must be an idiot to go all the way to Cambodia to eat western food of Serendipity Beach. Go to Ochheuteal Beach instead and they have proper Cambodian food which are... More

The beach was quite crowded and not the cleanest. All along it is populated with bars and nightlife, Hawkers constantly asking you to buy something or come to a bar/restaurant. Good backpacker vibe and very cheap.

Ive visited Cambodias beaches a few times, in off peak and peak season and its aleays been a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the citys. The beach is kept clean and all the little cafes of cold beers and fresh food. The nite life is there for those that what it with a few bars open till... More
