It was a far way out and road was not good but it was worth seeing as not much else here to do during the day. I thought it would of been higher but anyway killed 3 hours of my time. It was also a good place to chill for a while away from the town life.

On recommendation from our tour quide we visited the waterfalls and were both a little disappointed. As normal you are greeted by women and children trying to sell stuff. Annoying but becoming very normal. We traveled thru approx 100 wooden huts some used as restaurants and others selling drinks and food while others just people laying around. While the waterfall... This could really be a great natural attraction near Sihanoukville, but it's spoiled by rubbish strewn everywhere. Very disappointing & unfortunately I'd recommend giving it a big miss.

The actual falls are nice, but the filth you have to walk through makes this an overall unpleasant and disappointing experience. Rubbish is strewn all over the place and locals seemingly sit amongst plastic wrappings, bottles and other man made waste without any concern for how this disrespects the natural beauty of the area. We went after a lot of... More

At one time it was beautiful water fall, however the khmers find it necessary to throw their trash everywhere with total disregard to decency. Careful due to broken bottles in the water, its best to avoid this place until it is cleaned up.

Like so many places in Cambodia, trash is an ever-present problem. It's too bad because this really is a beautiful waterfall. I went with friends, fellow teachers actually, and we had a great time. They loved cavorting in the the little falls and pools on various terraces as the water makes its way down the hill. When we were done,... More

Kbal Chhay means the source of wealth. Visited this place more than ten years ago and you could see the waterfalls clearly. But now there are so many shacks and shops built along the way that the view is lost forever. The place is also polluted by waste. Locals still visit this place as they believe that a dip in... More

We hired a scooter to get there and it's about 15km each way with about 8km of that on dirt roads. The locals use this as a picnic area so you get all that goes with that, I.e. Loads of rubbish everywhere and fairly dirty water. Whilst we didn't feel like a swim we did walk in up to our... More

This is a popular waterfall close to Sihanoukville. Rent yourself a bamboo platform for a couple of hours, as we did, right on the edge of the water, order a roast chicken and some clams and drinks, and watch the locals playing in the water as you lie in the hammocks. Very chilled and good fun.
