The falls themselves aren't all that spectacular, at least outside of the rainy season, but it is a great place to go to just chill out over a few beers and beat the heat. Food and beverages are available on site and huts with hammocks in them, right on the waters edge. try not to go during any of the... More

It is a beautiful setting, still had water at this time of year, but the rubbish spoils the first impression. The ride out is over very bompy roads, but I'm still glad I went and spent some enjoyable time there.

We went to this place during dry season, so there was basically no water! What you're sure to find all year long however is garbage. To say this place is filthy is an understatement! Nothing extraordinary to see, not really a lot of locals around and long bumpy trip from sihanoukville. You're better off staying on the beach.

See the waterfalls and get a little wet, observe local life, have a bite to eat and snooze in one of the hammocks. A lovely little detour.

Kbay Chhay Waterfall is located a mere 15 km north of Sihanoukville. That close proximity, a 20 to 25 minute drive, makes it an ideal wilderness weekend get-a-way for the residents of SHV; both for Cambodians and tourists alike. It’s one of my favorite places for afternoon picnicking and frolicking is the rivers and the waterfalls. The quick way to... More

amazing waterfalls. You can stay in a hammock for a whole day for free. Better come on a weekday when there are not many locals. If you search well you can find hammocks hanging right close to the water with no people around!

Hired a bike from hotel to get there. Nice scenic drive and long bumpy ride down was fun. Upon arriving at waterfalls was amazing to be in with the local villagers and local tourists. I didn't see another foreigner whilst I was there and didn't get hassled once people trying to sell stuff. Amazing seeing the locals enjoy the water.... More

"The Waterfall," is where a lot of the locals in the area go for their holiday. It's a nice relaxing place with 100's of hammocks, food vendors, swimming in the river and climbing and hiking around the falls. If you have a motorbike, there are lots of nice off road trails around this area as well. It's not so easy... More
