My friends love K'bal Chhay for some unknown reason, so they took me there on our latest trip. Now, in the dry season, there are a lot of fun rocks to climb on and there is a waterfall, although not at all the most impressive or beautiful I've seen in Cambodia. But the water is FILTHY. I was really afraid...

This "resort" is very popular among locals. Not much to see there apart from plastic bags floating in the water. The waterfalls are nice but trash is everywhere. Beggars will follow you the entire time as well as numerous children trying to sell food or drinks to you. Go there if you have time and wheels but certainly don't otherwise....

As always there's food and drinks available...

The waterfall itself was quite disappointing. The water seemed dirty and not tempting to swim in. It might be different during the wet season, we went in early March.
For those who enjoy the journey more than the...

I initally travelled there on a hired motobike with a few khmer friends. The road is also accessible by normal 2WD car without any problems. As you travel out of Sihanouk heading to Phnom Penh on...
