By far the greatest selection of quality wines in the valley - staff has never been anything but the best, and the deli is superb. We loved it so much we joined their wine club years ago and visit every chance we get! more

The Ledson Castle is a must see. A beautiful building with the mountains as a backdrop make this a wonderful place to visit. However, the real reason to visit is the great wines. Ledson had the best wine that I tasted on our trip! Stopped by here during a day in Sonoma. We were taking a break from tastings but decided to have lunch here. The store in the tasting center sells a variety of salads, cheeses, olives, and desserts, plus wine by the bottle or glass. The oak tree grove is a perfect spot for lunch. Have been here quite a few times and each time the wine and the grounds are better than before! The premium wine is absolutely wonderful. This could be one of the most beautiful places to see in the wine country with the castle just puts you in aww. more

While I have to admit that the grounds and interior of Ledson are absolutely gorgeous, I was very put off by the "fortress" itself.
