Landmark Vineyards was founded in 1974 in Windsor, CA and in 1989 relocated to Kenwood, CA on a spectacular piece of land at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain in the heart of Sonoma Valley. Landmark specializes in premium Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Rhône wines such as Syrah and Grenache from the best vineyards in Sonoma County and California. Our Steel Plow Estate wines use organic farming practices and are pesticide free. The tasting room menu is always changing and we offer winery tours by appointment only. Most Saturdays we feature complimentary horse drawn vineyard tours so bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful gardens or a game of bocce.

We stayed at the Landmark vineyard for one night and we wish we could`ve stayed longer... much longer! When all the tours were over we were left all alone to enjoy some great wine and the beautiful grounds. They`ve done an amazing job setting up lights all around the buildings to make it that much more special at night. Hope... More

The wine, the staff, the knowledge, the environs. Chardonnay & Pinot Noir for special occasions. Terroir is so important to understanding wine sensations. Strongly recommended. Damaris Reserve a long-time favorite.

Landmark is known for making some of the best Chardonnays in California. I rank them with Cambria and Kistler, imo. This vineyard has two cottages that guests can rent at a reasonable Sonoma price. I was upset that they do not accept Visa Signature card anymore. Their explanation, to many Visa Signature card holders are coming in drunk, getting rowdy,... More

We found our way to Landmark Vineyards as part of a tour we took with Platypus. Full of the joys of spring, the very first thing I managed to do was (mistakenly) insult Paul Morand, our host, and as it turned out to be, the highlight of our day. Thankfully, he didn't take it personally. Boy, to say that Paul... More

Our wine barista....Paul, made this our most enjoyable tasting of the day. He's a former tv/radio pitchman and really put on a nice show. This is a Small production winery with a beautiful garden. If you don't enjoy Pinot Noir and/or Chardonnay, don't bother going. That's all they produce. What's more interesting is the fact that the vineyards surrounding the... More

My wife and I did the tasting with lunch and both were amazing. The setting in the courtyard is just gorgeous with the mountains in the background. The wine was pretty good too. During the week would be the best time to visit as we were the only ones there for most of our time.

Kerry Anderson was the ambassador for Landmark Vineyards. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The setting for the wine tasting was outdoors. I visited 4 vineyards in the area and Landmark is tied for first place.

We enjoyed its serenity, beautiful array of flowers, pleasant staff, and of course, the vino. Some families had their own picnic. Some were playing and relaxing on the grass. We would visit again, for sure.

Landmark makes some of the best Pinot Noir's in Sonoma Country. Their whites are pretty tasty too. The winery is a beautiful spot. Everyone that works here seems to really enjoy their job. It is really a fun experience. They also have lovely gardens with a fountain, pond, shade and tables to enjoy a picnic and some wine. Highly recommend!

It's a littl far out of town for some people but well worth the journey if you have a car. The gentleman serving us was super friendly and answered every question we had. The wines are amazing, set in a great courtyard and outdoor eating area. It's worth it.
