The title says it all...I spent 2 days prospection with Miner John at Woods Creek and New Peoria Claims and found some nice gold. Well worth the money. I'm already planning to visit Jamestown and Miner John next month. Anyone that's interested in gold prospecting should contact Miner John. If you can't get ahold of him the first try...keep trying.... More

My family I went panning for gold with the folks at Jamestown Gold Panning and had a great time. Very friendly and helpful but they also left us alone enough where we could just enjoy the experience with our family but were there when we needed their help. Off of the 108, the GPS tells you to make a left. You realize you're in the wrong place when you dead end. You need to make a right. Miner John and Preacher John were waiting for us.
