Where did all the money go? Barren fields, mediocre farmers market, so-so food trucks. This place is an embarrassment.

We went there on a Sunday. They had a nice farmers market and food trucks. Easy to walk park with an educational garden area, merry go round, sports fields and of course the big orange air balloon that you can ride. Looks like they are expanding from the picture attached, can't wait to see what they add

We rode the helium balloon on a calm weather night with a full moon. Wonderful! But, be advised, there is little more to do at Great Park. At least at the moment. Other reviewers who did a little research found that a massive development is underway. It's coming people. Be patient. The way Irvine does things is with exceptional execution... More

Why would the city name this so-called park a "Great Park" ? Maybe they have plans in the future or something but for now I couldn't advise anyone to go and visit

Construction is now underway on 700 plus acres of what will be the cornerstone of an eventual recreational center for all of Orange County. Right now there are just a few soccer fields and play areas as well as a helium balloon (it costs to ride it). By early 2017 a first class sports park will be open, as well... More

There's not much there, right now. There are some good soccer fields and there is lots of pleasant walking. We never seem to show up on days when there are any activities, like the farmer's market, but we still like to go.

The Merry Go Round was free as was the Baloon Ride. The patrons could rideas much as they wanted. The did have to get in line each time!

I took my three year old grand daughter to this maze of undeveloped desert! To be specific, once you get there, there are no direction of where anything is 😫 There is a visitors center with very unqualified people working in it, a backyard size merrygoround , a garden the size of the one you have on your patio, a... Formerly El Toro Marine Corps Air Station this is a huge piece of open space land in a very densely populated area. Only a very small part of it has been developed but new features are being added all be it slowly. Main attractions are a tethered Balloon which ascends to 400 ft offering views across OC and an old... More

Just not much to do here. Lot's of space. Huge potential. Still "planning" after all these years and wasted money.....
