Pretend City is amazing location for our little to explore in a control and safe environment. The museum smells like chlorine but don't let that fool you. As a parent, you must bring your own sanitizers. And BEWARE of head LICES. I've spoke to several parents whom children had contracted head lice. Be safe and have fun.

This place is fun for the kids, but it's kind of a zoo (pun partially intended). It's load and crowded. Not sure most parents would enjoy it. I was happy to get out after it was all done and over... :)

We had an annual family membership to Pretend City. We have taken our granddaughter, who is seven years old, there often. It has been a wonderful experience for her as she was growing up. Now, there are fewer children there who are her age than when she was younger. So, we probably won't renew our annual membership, but continue to... More

A wonderful hand-on educational experience combined with fun & games makes this a wonderful venue for parties, or just spur-of-the-moment entertainment

My granddaughters LOVE Pretend City. One is 3 and the other is 6 and they both have a wonderful time there. It's a great place to go to because you can stay for a few hours and they are happy as clams. There are all sorts of areas to visit in this miniature, indoor, pretend city. There is a grocery... It gets so crowded by noon that it isn't worth the admission! My grandkids loved it the first time we went when it was fairly new but this last time, the shelves we not restocked, the costumes were not put away, etc, etc. . . .

For kids 6 and under, this place would be a blast. Tons to do, all hands-on and worry-free. But $12.50 for each child and adult is pretty expensive when children that young won't last that long there. I'm not local so maybe that's why I got sticker shock.

First the good: my 2-year-old had so much fun! We arrived right before public opening (FYI - members have access an hour earlier). Lots of activities, seemed relatively clean, and the employees were constantly picking up after the kids. This is not really set up as an educational children's museum as I've seen in other cities, but rather a "pretend... More

this is literally a pretend city. there are different rooms (doctor's office, post office, grocery store, restaurant, fire station, etc) that your child can explore. some areas have costumes that they can wear (makes for cute photos). there is also a fun art studio where they can do art projects.
