Stop for delicious date milkshake!

The date shake was delicious! Fun quick stop. Authentic old groceries store that reminded me of the 40's.

Upon recommendations of the locals we had to try the milkshake that everyone raved about. It was so good but almost too much. We tasted all the varieties of dates on the sampler bar & watched the movie on the history of the date farm. What a labor intensive industry!!! Then we walked thru the Garden which has sculptures depicting... More

I highly recommend visiting this beautiful farm if you are in the Palm Springs area. There's a nice tasting room, dates of course, and gift shop with a great variety of merchandise. There are tasty treats available and a full service in back. The best part is the walking tour of [what appeared to be] biblical gardens on the grounds... More

Even though some of the items may seem pricey, they are worth it! The Date Shake is amazing & if you want to watch a movie, go watch their cute lil documentary on the Sex Life of a Date! You can buy dates, nuts, jams/jellies, and the usual tourist goodies.

A bit disappointed in what I believe was going to be a tour of a date farm. They showed an old old movie describing the date process and how they reproduce. It was mainly a Store selling Their products and your typical souvenirs. Parking was at a minimal and the advertise date malts were already made! It's a good stop... More

We traveled from Ohio and never had an education like this. Who knew there were so many different kinds of dates. The most interesting being the freshly picked dates.

I made my poor daughter drive us here as remembered as a kid. WOW what a disappointment. If you want stuff with dates in it, go to Costco or Trader Joes. If you want a Date Shake go to Great Shakes in Palm Springs

We come to Sheilds Date Farm Cafe for breakfast when we're in town and we love it. Great omelettes, super fresh squeezed orange & grapefruit juices, amazing date pancakes and French toast. They are happy to accommodate items not on the menu also. Great service and not as busy on weekdays. Weekends are packed!

Many things to see and do. Variety of dates to sample, nostalgic and modern products to buy. Interesting mini theatre showing the production of dates. An outside dinning area we did not experience. A Biblical Garden that was just a serene and beautiful stroll.

This restaurant has a great outdoor eating area with a great view and menu! Most items on the menu are grown locally. The date shakes are the bomb!!
