I went out for a birthday dinner here with three girlfriends. Perfect lighting for those of us in our 50's. Delicious food- the wedge salad was crisp and blue cheesy, the way I like it, and the chicken Marsala came with plenty of mushrooms and a nice side of veggies. The Chocolate Lava cake garnished with blueberries and Strawberries was... More

I've never gone for the food (but it isn't bad ... still have yet to try the frog legs they are famous for) but the people watching is like nothing you have witnessed before! Every time I have been I have reserved a table on the restaurant side via OpenTable. After a great dinner we head over to the "other... More

We spent a fantastic evening at The Nest with family and friends. The music was amazing. The guitar player was very talented. The crowd was a lot of fun. You didn't really need a dance partner as everyone was dancing with everyone. That made it a lot of fun. Harpo the clown was super cool too even though he doesn't... More

Visited here for the second time on New Years day. Last time was great. this time, not so much. They seemed understaffed, and were out of a few items, claiming they were "slammed" on New Years Eve. Food was not very flavorful and only luke warm. Music by a one man band with computer backing.

If Italian food is on your mind, then the venerable restaurant, The Nest, is a comforable and casual place to dine. The wine list is good, and the menu is diverse. Considering that I have been visiting the area for many years, and driven by the restaurant on countless occasions, this was my first visit. A nice plus is the... More

Went there for dinner not knowing what to expect. This is THE happening place in Indian Wells; perhaps the whole Coachella Valley. We had dinner which is a somewhat formal setting with very good food. Escargots were very good. A small two person rock band started playing about 8:30 or so and was a little loud but not overly so.... More

Was led to believe this was one of the top 100 restaurants in the USA, but I would put it in the bottom 5%. The restaurant is on one side and the other is one of the sleaziest pick up bars I've seen. Clients from 22 to 80. Cougars, guys on steroids - if this is your scene, you will... More

A group of us (22) people decided to meet up and have dinner at the Nest. We called ahead and made reservation. The owner was welcoming and tried to be accommodating. The waiters was efficient and did their best to serve us considering there were so many people at our table. The food was really good and to my surprise,... More

The Nest is a Palm Springs standard. It is great people watching. Our server was very attentive. Get there early if you want to score a table.
