I liked how the stretch had a lot for visitors to shop for and the prices were reasonable. Plenty of places to eat too. Wanted to got to Wahoo Fish Taco, but we had plans to go somewhere on the way back. Maybe next visit

Live entertainment at three closed intersections, farmer's market, food vendors, kids play areas, lots of fun for locals and visitors. Available Parking all around Main Street and Pier open for strolls to Ruby's Diner.

The downtown is small and very much growing into the "Beach City" it wants to be. There has been a significant amount of new businesses that have complemented the area. They need to control the amount of loitering in the fountain area. Panhandling can be annoying as well.

Okay, it gets a little crazy at night but that's fun to watch. Great place for the family, the walk on the pier can't be beat. There's actually places to shop, buy clothes, lots of restaurants, jewelry and defiantely people watching.

Huntington Beach is known as Surf City USA for a reason, there is a Main Street Downtown section crammed with shops, restaurants and "dives" , many with outdoor seating. Main Street then ends at the Huntington Beach Pier with, on any given day, dozens of wetsuited surfers catching the waves. Whether watching the surfers or grabbing a bite to eat,... More

Liked that it was within walking distance from the Hyatt hotel. Clothing, souvenirs, restaurants all reasonably priced. Nice dinner at sunset on 2nd floor!

We mostly drove through downtown huntington as we were driving down the pacific coast highway on the way to LA. Really liked the downtown area. Lots of little shops to stop at, restaurants to go to, great place to get out and stretch and check things out. Definitely stop if you have the time and wander.

Being a local here I can honestly say that downtown H.B. has its ups and downs. Great shopping for beach necessities and yummy restaraunts however the nightlife can be a bit much as there is a pub crawl almost every weekend. Seeing main street evolve over the years is kind of sad. There are just way too many bars in... More

Fun town to walk up & down the streets - restaurants galore for every taste + shopping. Recently visited during a football game and we encountered many Floridians from back home which added to the fun of walking around to see & be seen. When you've done enough of that, cross the street & visit the pier & see the... More
