Went trailer camping with family for 6 days here. Had a great time and plan to return again. Note: Sites on west side (beach side) are worth waiting for. We had site 6, which is on the other side. Besides losing the beach front views, the PCH becomes your backyard, and the wind blows the other sites debris into yours.... More

this state park offers RVing at a beach - and still close to nearby restaurants - if you want to eat out - though it will be a walk, or if you tow a smaller car ? fire rings to use at night , bring own wood..great for surfers and winter birds... also I believe there are places to 'rent'... More

the beach is gigantic! nice place for group activity as well as for family fun. There is a spacious parking place too! What I dislike is a long walk to the beach.

Beautiful beach, well maintained and managed, great for biking/running, volleyball, swimming (cold!), and the pier gives a good view up and down the coast. A real treasure!

Walking in the neighborhood just gets old. Walking on the HB state park bike path is a beautiful refreshing change to my routine. All the other walkers and runners serve as added inspiration!

Drove in from the south, first beach I came to that looked decent, but it was $15.00 to park and the girls only wanted to walk to the water, spent maybe two hours there. There is absolutely NOTHING on this beach worth 15 bucks. Keep driving and stop in the pier area of HB.

This is probably one of the best maintained beaches in the west coast. The maintenance that goes into this beach after the people leave is remarkable. I remember someone telling me that HB has more equipment then the much larger state beach right next to them, and trust me it shows. The sand is clean and the area is kept... More

One of the best beaches I've ever visited in the US. Clean and not overcrowed. Would love to come back on day.

Love this Beach! We had the opportunity to watch a High School surf competition that was amazing! The talent it takes to ride the waves. The beach is clean, lot's of seashells and lifeguards all over. Very much a safe environment for all ages.

Seamlessly connects to the rest of beautiful Huntington Beach and great views of the pier and ocean. Parking is often more available here, fire rings (tho get them early on in the day during busy months). Lifeguards here as well as the city beach.
