Walked on the pier in the morning, afternoon, and evening hours. Safe and in good shape. Saw dolphins go by and sea lions. Fun to see the surfers as well. Sunsets brought a crowd every evening and lots of pictures were taken by all.

We walk down the pier almost every day, sit with a cup of coffee, a muffin, and watch the surf roll in. Dolfins go swimming by a lot of the time. Volleyball, surfing, and fishing, all have it going on, in the terrific weather Huntington has most every day. Breakfast or lunch, at the end of the pier, at Ruby's... More

All over the world Huntington Pier is known as Surf City, even without the Jan and Dean song. It's because Shooting the Pier is synonymous with the nicely shaped curl that forms here, making long, even, rides possible. The pier is the perfect place to view the brave and talented, ...and the hip and the cool and the beautiful.

Really bealtiful pleace! I love all the structure and the amazing landscape. Have many good restaurants and stores. The view of the pier is awesome! The only problem in the pier is the Rubys Dinner: Bad service and bad food.

This pier is one of my favorites in CA. Huntington Beach is such an iconic part of the surf scene that you can't miss it when you visit! Make sure that you walk all the way down and back for the full experience!

Do yourself a favor, walk to pier in a casual manner and observe the interesting people doing likewise. Then, off the pier to the left, are stone sitting areas, where you can observe, surfers, runners, walkers, volleyball players & bikers. Bikers like to perform all kinds of stunts right in front of those stands, very entertaining. A good way to... More
