Surf city USA. From the Pier one can travel 8 miles north or south and continue to enjoy sandy beaches. The sands are clean, the surfing is great, and it is worth the drive to come visit this location if you're not nearby.

This is an amazing pier. My wife and I have strolled to the end dozens of times over several decades and this place never grows old. Watch the surfers as if from a seagull's view and the anglers hoping to catch a big fish. Well worth your time and it's free!

Family and I enjoyed the pier and the beach, we spent about 3 hours here, from the pier they loved watching the surfers and the waves hitting the beach, we enjoyed the little gift shops on the pier, reasonably priced souvenirs. While we walked on the beach some guy gave us his boogie board and said he had no use... More

If you have a chance to check this out during the off season, definitely do it. It gets really crazy and very crowded once you clear spring break. However, the ocean is beautiful and the walk is divine.

I have strolled on the pier probably a thousand times over the years or more... and it has just never gotten boring... seeing the surfers and the young people walking about... always a pleasure!

When the surfers are out, this is the best place to take photos. It is clean and well maintained with a few fishermen and women. Relaxing..

Went with my teenage son. He's counting the years until he can return with his friends and not his mother!!! Great outdoor pubs and restaurants lining the streets. Fun beach to play volleyball or just relax. Venice or Santa Monica may have more going on but I enjoyed the closeness and atmosphere of Huntington.

I have spent days on vacation from Florida in California and this is my favortie spot ever! The iconic pier is known for the surfers down below in the water. It is also known for the Ruby's diner on the end and the life guard traning and life guards jumping off the pier. The pier is featured in many surf... More

We arrived in Huntington Beach just before sunset and we quickly walked from our hotel to the pier to catch the view. There was street music and people were everywhere enjoying the beach. It was a great atmosphere. The sunset was spectacular, worth the walk down the pier.
