Sand, surf & sun - Just like most beaches in southern California. But if you like taking walks on a beach, it is fairly nice long one.

We went to see if there were any cancelations for the RV park but they were already full so we decided to stay for the day with our trailer and enjoy the day anyway. There was plenty of parking so we unhooked the trailer, opened the back and enjoyed the day. We had loaded our bikes so we took our...

It is just cool! People are great in HB! Fun, calming & relaxing & more all in one place! From walking downtown to out on the pier to on the beach! It is great! So many awesome places to eat and shop! If you see it...stop in! LOL
Site great with full hookups, sites maybe a little small but still room enough. Everything very clean, right on the beach. Would stay here again.

This is a nice beach to visit. One side of the beach is for campers and the other side has fire pits which you don't see on beaches too much anymore. There is nothing like listening to the waves and enjoying a fire under a moonlit night!
The thing I like most about this beach, every spot on the sand has a great view and plenty of firepits for family and friends gatherings. It feels "remote" because of the adjacent 1200 acre ecological reserve there are no nearby houses or city buildings. Great place to watch a sunset! This Fall 2012/Winter 2013 the regular admission price is...

Nice, wide sand beach with clean restrooms, ample parking and usually not very crowded considering it is in the heart of So. Cal.
With all the ocean we rarelly get to see the fruit of it's bounty. In the AM, take a trip and check out the open air fish and seafood market. Not a huge selection, but it's fresh and if your a die hard fish lover like myself you too will apperciate the hard work these fish mongars put out to...
