This is a nice park. Lots of Trees and pathways. Just be sure not to ride your bike on a holiday or weekend as it is very hard to ride your bike with all the people.

Hard to find BBQ locations because there are so many different entrances and areas of the park. Once we found the tables and bbqs, it was very peaceful with lots of cool birds to see. Flung around some Aerobi in the large open grass area near us. Free parking in some lots.

Even tho the water level has dropped dramatically, there are still lots of ducks and Canadian geese and even a few herons to enjoy. There are also lots and lots of friendly walkers as well as a place for you (and your dog) to enjoy an outdoor breakfast.

Been going to this park since they built it. The facilities are getting a bit long in the tooth, but the park itself is exceptionally pretty. Large open grass areas mixed with trees make it great for picnics large and small. Pleasant community nature center is worth a stop if they are open as it shows what the area would... More

Go for a walk and see the ducks at the big pond! :) Long trails for bike rides and tons of shady grass areas for picnics!

I like how this park spans both sides of goldenwest... there are two restaurants that are both fun and dog friendly... there are also a bunch of exercises in a cycle that you can do around the park that are interesting and fun. Also the park is generally just beautiful... it also has the HB Library nestled in the middle... More

Great place for a walk and for peace in Huntington. Nice paths for kids to ride scooters and bikes. Have a picnic, listen to a concert...

The library in the park has lots of activities. There are walking paths that you can take your dogs on, and the Parkbench cafe even has a dog menu.
