This is a place for locals; not in any sense a travel destination for out-of-towners. It's pretty and green and has plenty of room to roam, but doesn't offer any of the amenities that would make it memorable for anyone living farther than a few blocks away. In simplest terms, it's a city park with a couple of small lakes... More

Though this parks needs some TLC in terms of litter pick up, and maintenance. It is a gem of an oasis in the city. The ponds are filled with ducks and lots of birds. It is really peaceful and the way the path meanders through the park makes your walk very interesting.

I love this park for one simple reason, I play disc golf here! The course is gorgeous and so much fun. Also there's a library right across the street and the Nature Center... a very nice park to spend the day at. Great for kids (not on the golf course) and even better for romantic strolls at sunset. Such a... More

There is no zoo, but there are lakes and lots of trees and grass......A large library with fountains and ducks and a community theatre......Across the parking lot there are baseball lots and across the street, more fields and an equestrian center......The city of Huntington Beach did a good job on this family venue

The Main Reason I Liked Huntington Central Park So Much Is Because I Felt Like I Was In Another State! Most Parks In Southern Cal Are So Boring With Mostly Palms Growing! While Huntington Central Park Is A "Tree Fan's" Delight! Trees From All Over The Country {Mid West, East Coast, & The Deep South}! One Could Film Several ADs... More

HB Central Park was originally plant as Park reaching until the ocean...well, other options became priority. Nevertheless the park is yet attractive, with his many quiet and peaceful places, its richness of different trees and plants, its little lake and variety of birds. The HB library is located there as well.

This large park is right in the middle of Huntington Beach and is bisected by Golden West which is a major street. On either side there is about 1 square mile of very nice improved parkland with a restaurants. The Huntington Beach Library (which is quite large) sits on its western corner. There are large ponds with plenty of bird... More

This park appears out of nowhere and you feel like you have escaped the cares of the city. Beautiful ponds filled with birds and ducks and geese galore. You can even spot owls asleep up in the trees. Great place to walk or picnic with friends.

This is one of my favorite places in HB. Around every turn of the paved walkway through the park there is something different to see. It never feels crowded because it's so vast. It has a fun fitness trail too.
