June 16th my daughter went to silver wood to enjoy the day with her dad. When she arrived at home she complained of feeling itchy. As any parent would do, I had her shower after a long day at the lake. After the shower I realized she had little bumps all over her legs and torso. I have her benadryl... More

I'm sad to say but will probably never go again, we also Incountered a HORRIBLE experience this past weekend, we had in enoucter with the cops that was mind blowing. We were done being on the lake for the day as we were tired of all the Loud pushy people,... More

The water at the lake is cold and wet! THe trees are too tall. I don't like the bald eagles flying over and scaring away my fish. The blue sky is to bright and the Staff are too friendly. Stay away. I will suffer for you. If you come to the lake, don't wake me. I am the guy sitting... More

My husband and I go fishing often here in spring and fall, mostly for striped bass, but large mouth and trout too. Last spring we each caught a bass at the same time. One of them was just barely {about 1/4 inch} undersize so my husband tossed it back....or so he thought. He tossed back the wrong one. The game... More

I went recently to Silverwood lake and what a pleasant experience it was. Peaceful is one way to decribe it as my daughter and I cast out our lines and sat back and relaxed as we waited for a nibble on the line. I always come here and will continue to come here.

Our family, our children live down in Southern CA and we are in the North so vacationing and just getting together is a challenge. We loved our weekend at Silverwood Lake. The campground was very nice and we brought our canoe and they were great no hassle at all as far as inspections. These sites when looking at the map... More

Maybe Miss Suzie O didn't see any rattlesnakes but there are plenty in the desert. How many people are bitten by snakes every day? How many people are killed every day on the wonderful freeways of Southern California that you use to get to the scary snakes in the desert? If you've never seen the High Desert, visit it, take...
