We went here after tasting at Rodney Strong right across the parking lot. Hint- taste at R. Strong first and if you buy, ask for the pourer's card for free tasting at J's. In a land of great Zins and Cabs, J's stands out for their sparkling Brut. Pricey, but really good!!! More

This is a very modern looking and feeling tasting room. I was attended to by Pierre and he was very knowledgeable about the wines and the wine making process. If you visit J Vineyards & Winery, you can stay in their parking lot and go next door to Rodney Strong Vineyards too! More

I have always enjoyed the low key, friendly ambiance of Sonoma County wineries but this is the complete opposite. $20 apiece for 5 very small tastings is ridiculous plus we got a hard sell on joining the wine club almost non-stop. When we arrived at J, we were impressed by the modern looking place and great taste for decoration. They start with wines and then finish with several bubblies. The wines are good, but the bubblies are really good. A bit pricey but the quality is excellent. Staff was really nice. More
