There are so many wineries in the Healdsburg area, so you really have to pick and choose. If you're looking for something small (where tour buses are not allowed) and rustic chic, this is your place! The wine tastings are in caves, which are so different. The wines are amazing and the service was impeccable. I'd love to host an... More

We were with Platypus Tours when we discovered this wonderful Vineyard! The tasting area is unusual and they also have a great picnic area. Enjoyed the wine so much, I joined the wine club! Thanks to Army at Platypus Tours for opening our eyes to this great hidden gem!

Excellent pinot noir and zinfandel! The Chardonnay was also very good. The tastings in the "cave" are a fun experience. The people were very friendly and informative about their wines.

We have been spending some time in the area as part of a little getaway and discovered this winery on a drive through Dry Creek Valley. It has some great wines - especially liked Lilly Hill Zin and friendly staff. The views were beautiful and the atmosphere really casual. Hope to go back again and enjoy the caves.

Definitely tour the cave and taste everything you can. Beautiful property and wine. One if the best stops in the wine road!

Bella Vineyards is a first class tour, great wine and a ton of fun. You start tour in a beautifully decorated cave. From there you venture to the top of the vineyard in a Swiss Military transport vehicle. We learned so much about vineyards, wine making and marketing. From there you return to the business side of the caves, where... More

We discovered this little winery after having a glass of Bella Zin at a restaurant for lunch. The tasting rooms are in a cave in the side of a mountain. Cool atmosphere! I loved every single sample offered at the tasting. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and they do not push their wine club (which we had to join). Can't... More

Bella was a surprising highlight of my weekend in Sonoma. I love Dry Creek Zins and Bella has quality wines to offer. In the barn, we tasted a delightful Chardonnay (which I'm not normally a fan of Calif. Chards); we were then led to the "small bites station" outside and were delighted with a Rose paired with saffron, vegetable &... More

This was one of the vineyards we visited with other veterans of DCV Passport weekend (our first time). This was one of the stops that I remember and enjoyed. Several Zinfandel's and a Sirah that I thought was good, which were paired with some great food. Definitely check this place out if you get the opportunity. Unique "cave" wine cellar.

Bella is at the "end of the road." And, worth the extra few miles to get there. The people are nice. The wines are nice.
